I really like my coffee and this machine is great. Love the bigger tank. Deducted one ⭐️ as every single time I have to fill it up I need to turn it off and use kitchen towel to soak out where water goes through to machine. However minor issue. Definitely recommend.

Purchased this for my own use. Easy to setup and reads the various Tassimo pods with no failures. Bosch Tassimo Joy TAS4502NGB Coffee Machine, 1300 Watt Arrived in its presentation box and could be gift wrapped if purchased as a present. Setup was easy to follow with instructions to perform a clean of the pipes with water before making the first cup. The Britta filter is easy to insert into its own holder that then sits inside the water tank. There is a digital scale on the top edge of the machine beside the water tank to record how many usages or lifetime of the filter. There is no warning when the digital scale reaches 0 as I have reached 0 and no warning or beep to inform the filter is now ready for replacement. This filter can be removed and even the filter holder can be removed from the water tank as they have no effect on the float or the machine if they are not required. The machine as shown in the attached photos, has a small footprint that it can sit on top of a pod holder and also fits underneath the kitchen cupboard with no impact in adding the pods into the machine or removing the water tank. Various pods have been used that require either a half cup or full cup when read by the machine and all have poured to the required level without intervention needed. When switched on the first time, there is a slight warmup and putt putt sound as water is pushed through the machine before the pouring starts. Having used a few Tassimo machines, there is not a noticeable delay or faster usage...the machine just seems to work the same as any other machine. The reason I purchased this for myself was the larger water tank to allow guests to have coffee's without having to stop and fill the tank. I can confirm this works as I feel I'm not having to fill the water tank after every cup. Fully recommend this Tassimo machine as its the only one I have running and it works perfectly to produce coffee, lattes and flat whites with no failures.

OK, our faithful old Bosch Tassimo from around 2018 popped its clogs so, I had to replace it. That wasn't as easy as I'd have liked, as there are quite a few Models, many no longer the latest, or in stock, or being sold by Amazon as the Seller. So quite a few other Sellers selling off older Models. To try and save you this hassle, I am writing this to advise why I chose this Model, and then what my first impressions are. In a nutshell, it has a bigger 1.4 Litre Tank, which was the main decider, plus it's a current Model, and built with a combination of plastic and steel. There were less expensive units, but their Tanks were half the size, and the same as our old Tassimo. In the flesh it's slightly larger than our old Tassimo, which had failed as the Barcode Reader had contrived to get moisture inside of it, so was no longer able to reliably read Pod Barcodes. I have included a few images, showing both Old and New Tassimos, to show the size and Tank compartison. Main points to note are: Pod Mechanism requires a firm press to close, but test that without a Pod first, to see how it works. Basically, just make sure the Pod is properly aligned, and go for it. The area for cups narrows at the base, so large cups only fit when the drainer stand is fitted, so not a problem unless you have large tall cups. The BRITA Filter Unit is an insert into the main Tank, so a Tank within the main Tank, so this can all be removed. You do NOT need to use this. I took ours out. A BOSCH Blender Container fits perfectly with the Drainer Stand removed, so ideal if making Bulletproof Coffee with Butter (we went Carnivore a couple of years ago)! The Hot Water Pod is different to the older Model, as the Barcode Reader is at the front on the new Tassimo whereas it's on the side on the old one, so no need to keep the old Hot Water Pod, as it's no use. The Water Tank goes in and out better than on the old Tassimo, albeit it is at the rear, so you may need to consider that depending on where you will be using it. You will need easy access to the rear for example. Seems to make coffee as well as the older one so, I'm happy with that. The bigger Water Tank is definitely a huge improvement. So it looks like a good investment, and even better if you can buy it on a Deal Day.

Second one I've bought. Great for coffee lovers just a pity the pods are expensive. Works quickly and very hot coffee....delicious.

I bought this coffee machine and I didn’t realise that you can only use the coffee pods from the machine, well I’ve got the pods, it was easy to put it together, high quality, value for money, perfect size for me, the coffee stays hot , which is great, highly recommended
