Very disappointed, one battery was 100% drained and DOA

I absolutely love Cherry keyboards, we’ve been using them for 3-4 years and they work great. This particular combo unit arrived today. I immediately removed the batteries and put them in the OPUS BT-C3100 v2.2 to discharge/charge. I moved the one AAA to multiple slots, each slot showed “null” which indicates the rechargeable battery will not accept a charge. I guess they can’t all be a winner.

Battery life if good between charges. No complaints. Found product damaged upon receipt- put keys back in place but does not function properly.
