Great Hybrid pad
This pad is a great cross between a foam cot pad, (very big and bulky), and an inflatable sleeping pad, (very small and light, not real wide and thick though). I am a 55 yr old that has been camping with the Boy Scouts for 14 years. I'm 6' and 260lbs. I have been using the Cabela's extra large cot pad on all my camp outs. It is very big and bulky when rolled up, but has served me well. I have been looking for something that is as comfortable but much smaller to lug around. I have found it in this Wellax pad. This pad is very thick and plenty comfortable, nice and wide as well. When rolled up it is smaller than my camp chair. It is not a backpacking pad, but you could attach it to the bottom of a pack and carry for a short distance. Not possible at all with the extra large cot pad. Getting it rolled back up is bit tricky, if you open the valves, fold it in half twice, lay on it and push all the air that you can out of it, close the valves, then open it and begin to roll it up from the foot end, then when 3/4 or so rolled up, open the valves to let the rest of the air out, close the valves, and it will be as small as when it was shipped, no problem getting it back in the bag. I love this pad, it should be the last one I will need.

Best portable mattress ever. Hard to deflate, but well worth it.
I was originally angry because I couldn't figure out how to deflate this mattress. It turns out that it shouldn't be deflated or rolled up for storage. Simply slide the mattress under a bed or in back of a couch. I'm a person who owns more than ten camp mattresses, and this one is my favorite for many reasons. 1.) It's more reliable than a double high air bed, as it won't lose air as easily. 2.) It's more compact than a tri folding foam mattress. My luxury tri-folding by Milliard is quite comfortable but remains super large when folded down. It takes up too much space in the back of my SUV. 3.) It's far more comfortable than my compact Klymit air mattress, which I use for hiking. 4.) It's comparable to a Mondo King, but the price is much more affordable. You can't go wrong with this mattress. It feels like sleeping on a bed, even if you're a large person like my husband, who weighs 315 pounds. 5.) To transport, simply slide the inflated mattress on top of your other stuff in a fully packed SUV. It's simple and brilliant. There's no inflating at camp. Just take it out of the car and set it on the tent floor. If you prefer to be elevated form the floor, this mattress works well with camp cots and portable folding beds. In an imperfect world, this is about as close to perfect as you'll find. --Bethany from Camp Like Home dot com

Pretty good!
I actually purchased this, using money. I used this to sleep in the back of my car for three consecutive nights and I can say that it worked quite well! A few things: - You've got to really give it the business when you go to roll it back up and stick it in the bag. I didn't quite have the mustard when I went to put it away and ended up tearing the seam of the included drawstring bag :( When I got home I re-rolled it and it slid in effortlessly - Quality seems to be decent. The material is comfortable on the skin and seems to be durable, we'll see how it holds up with more uses - Plenty large. I'm 6' 2" and under 170 lbs. The thing provides enough sleeping surface, though It would be cool to have something that fit the entire width of the back of my car instead... no such option exists to my knowledge - I ended up sticking my mouth over one of the knobs and gave it one last puff of air to help inflate it. Seems to have maintained its inflation through the night - Includes a patch kit and one replacement plastic valve knob I'm satisfied with it. How this thing holds up over various uses will determine whether its a good value. Sleeping in a car has other factors to consider aside from the surface you sleep on - make sure the car is parked somewhere level and try 'n keep the bugs out! The first night was a very unpleasant learning experience... but that's in no way the fault of this product.

Super Comfy Sleeping Pad
So far this pad is awesome! My boyfriend and I have been looking at and comparing sleeping pads for a while now as we're preparing to do a 10 day backpacking hike in Alaska. This one is super cushy which is the main reason I picked it. I don't like the thin pool floaty like, inflatable ones with all the ridges. I have a fused spine and it's hard enough getting comfortable while sleeping on a regular mattress at home, so having something extra supportive and padded was top priority for me. This wellax sleeping pad is perfect! It self inflates and has a lot of foam to cushion and add thickness so you don't feel like you're sleeping on the ground in the slightest. I almost think it's comparable, if not better than my actual mattress. I am not worried anymore about losing sleep after our long hikes due to discomfort and inflammation. The one downside is that it is a bit big rolled and packed up, but I find that to be a worthwhile sacrifice for the better quality of sleep I'll be getting with this. All of the foam ones run a bit bigger and thicker anyways, so when considering that this really isn't bad at all. Definitely easy enough to pack and carry still. Another upside is that this pad is super toasty! It immediately warms you up the second you sit/lay on it. I'm really happy about that because I'm usually always cold and being outside in mild Alaska temperatures (we are going in the summer) I know I'm gonna be chilly at night. The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because I have not actually gone camping and slept on it for a whole night yet. I'm confident I'll be sleeping like a baby when I do though.

While camping in the winter, this pad provides plenty of insolation from the cold ground. I was surprised with how comfortable this was to sleep on. Only for one person. Always was inflated in the morning when I woke up, until my cat found it stored under my bed one day...

Best of its kind. Period. When I read some reviews stating that you can sleep on your side, I was like "yeah, sure". Oh boy have I been wrong, this baby supports even the weirdest sleeping positions. You have to be aware though, that this thing is truly unwieldy, I mean its humongous. Before you buy, you should know that you probably won't go backpacking with it anytime soon. For any other application its numero uno.

I'm 5' 5" and used this sleeping pad on my last camping trips. It's very comfortable, warm and I could even sleep on my side without problems. The extra thickness means you can deflate it slightly if you like it softer, and you still won't touch the ground. The integrated pillow is a bit small, but it's a nice addition as long as you have a thin pillow to go over it or that you are not sleeping on your side.

Absolute Luxusmatte, man liegt wie im Bett, breiter als normal, Gewicht und Packmaß Ok, Oberfläche strapazierfähig, Steinchen o. ä. machen keine Schäden.

I had my doubts but honestly this mattress was well worth the money. It doesn't really self inflate as advertised, but a dozen or so blows from your mouth will inflate it just fine.
