This is a nice umbrella stand. It is tall and has a modern design, which should fit relatively well in a modern décor. Four features that are not particularly obvious from the pictures. First, as you may be able to see, some of the "bands" at the top do not close. This is intentional because the open "bands" allow you to hang short umbrellas from the top, so they don't sink to the bottom and easily access them. Second, there is a little plastic tray at the bottom, so to the extent that water may accumulate at the bottom, you can pull out the tray and dry it out, which I thought was a nice touch. Third, there seems to be something under the stand so that it does not scratch the floor when you slide it around. Fourth, because it is tall, even very large umbrellas do not lean too much when you put them in this stand, which we like very much as it is in a tight space. The circle design on this umbrella stand is very attractive, and the stand is useful and very sturdy. I have three long umbrellas in it and one short one hanging, and it does not tip over even though it is on a carpet. When I find my other small sun umbrella, I will hang it there too, and there will be plenty of space. I am using this one to hold the umbrellas that I use as I go out the door. It is time saving that I do not have to search for one. I got the smaller stand with the umbrella and rain design to put on my front porch for wet umbrellas. It is sturdy but does not hold as many as they is no need for it to do so.

Solid piece that will fit nicely in almost any corner near a doorway. Trust me when I say this, I live in a single wide mobile home with about a 3' wide hall and it tucks nicely in the space to not hinder entrances or the pathway of the hall. While primary use is an umbrella stand with the removable tray, it also makes a great cane stand which was the purpose we purchased it. Definitely recommend.

I especially liked the design of the product and the height that was sufficient for taller umbrella to stand without falling over. Item is light weight and that concerned me, but have found Metal Stand to be constructed well and does the job intended of containing medium to larger umbrellas.

I needed a way to store canes close to my chair. This unit fits the bill. Most importantly it’s tall enough to support canes and it’s wide enough to store canes with different tip sizes. Unfortunately it came packaged in styrofoam; the reason for my four star rating.

I like how it fits easily next to my front door and that it is roomy enough to hold both my canes and umbrellas. I am completely satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend it.

This basket is really tall and narrow and fit perfectly in small closets or hallways. Love that it is wired and allows umbrellas to dry. Has removable tray to drain water and 2 helpful hooks to hang extra umbrellas on the side. I had looked for a long time online and in home stores before I found this one. Can fit a lot of umbrellas.

I was looking for an umbrella holder that was sturdy, deep enough and large enough to accommodate a few umbrellas. Although this holder is a little more expensive than so many others, I am so glad I chose this model. It is very sturdy and you can use it right out of the box. The holder is deep enough to hide the umbrella portion with just the handle exposed so it looks nice and neat. Mostly the design is very nice and looks great in my mud room.
