Brush works, price is right, BUT the finish actually comes off the brush. We had red paint flecks on our hands, vanity, and clothes. I've never had that happen before!

It is a bit stiff at first, but it's very sturdy and I'm not afraid of pulling out the cushion or breaking the handle when i brush!

I have been looking for a brush to tame my very wild & very long mixed heritage hair. I searched for "thick hair brushes" and was unsatisfied with the results. I tried "vent brushes" which had kind of worked for me in the past but I still wasn't happy. I ordered this brush on a whim and boy was I in for a treat.If you have thick and knotty hair this is the brush for you. It manages to reach all the way to the scalp and unknot the hair with very little effort or breakage. Even seems to have the added benefit of a scalp massage with is awesome! I personally ordered more brushes as soon as I tested this one out. I really hope to never be without oneUpdate:The handle on these brushes has come off on 3 out of 5 of my brushes. It's an easy fix if you have some liquid nails or something similar. Also, the red dye that they use in the plastic will run if left on a wet counter. The dye doesn't stain if you wipe it up before it dries. Still my favorite brush

So far, no problems with the handle coming off (unlike I've seen other reviewers say). Really love this paddle brush! Only thing I would say is that I like to keep my brush clean and the hairs do tend to get lost in the brush. The little tines (or whatever they're called) collapse in if you push on them, so it's hard to take the hairs out of the brush. Otherwise, it's great!

I have bought these brushes over many years and like them a lot. The brush has ball tipped bristles spaced close enough to direct medium thick hair. It is true that the little ball tips come off over time; but, the benefit of this large brush more than makes up this.

I like the price of the brush, the quality for the price - it seems like it will last for a number of years....the only drawback is that it smells like chemicals and I am hoping that the odor will subside soon. Not sure if water and shampoo will damage it so I haven't 'washed' the brush.

Love this brush. Very durable I've dropped it a billion times and I've even slapped my husband on the bum with it really hard... So it's very sturdy. I've had it for a few months now. My hair is thick and I haven't noticed any of the bristles falling out. It never builds up any product residue. If I get hair tangled in it all I do is pull it out. It doesn't get stuck in the brush.

I loved this brush until it broke within the first week of use at the handle. Luckily, super glue can fix my problem! I have thick long layered hair (rests at my bottom) and this brush is my savior! Now brushing my hair takes less than 5 minutes :)

Sturdy brush. Works well. Nice colour.

i have black girl hair and it worked real good when i was dying it yesterday can't wait to try it when i blowdry and straitghten tommorow.

Love this hairbrush. Easy to hold handle and the bristles have little balls on the end making it soft on the scalp
