Can a sighted person use this to make labeled?

Absolutely. I am so sighted but my son is blind.I learned to read Braille when he was in school, however his siblings did not, and they're all able to use the labeler.

Where to buy the labeling tape

Can a blind person make labels with this machine? (Is the alphabet selector in braille?)

It not really a machine, but the answer is yes. A blind person can make labels. The biggest complaint I had is that the instructions to load the labeling tape and use the labeler are printed and not in braille

When writing a label, do you have to start with the last letter?

The braille is standard grade 1, ans you begin with the first letter of the word. then turn the dial to your next letter. this is not like brailling with a slate and stylus.
