Covers Almost Everything for Planning a Trip to the Azores
This book is just what I needed for our trip next year. It provides tons of information and good overview maps of the islands in a compact format. The photos are amazing too. I've had wonderful luck with Eyewitness guides in the past and this one is right up there too.

Terrific Guide
This was one of three guidebooks I bought for our trip to the Azores, and it was the most used. We spent 10 days across four islands, and this guide pointed us to both must-see and off-the-road experiences.I love how the top 10 lists are themed, so while we were in a place (Horta, for example) we could easily plot the day, balancing the planned with the unplanned.By the way, if you’re even thinking about going to the Azores GO. The people couldn’t be nicer, the food is amazing, and you can swim in a caldera. It’s not crowded or expensive (we went in July 2022), and you can be as active or chill as you want. This book was an invaluable companion.

Very compact guide
This thing will literally fit in your back pocket. I didn't realize how small it was, but it is packed full of good info.

Don't leave home without it
I waited for this to come out (late June of 2017) and bought this days before my trip to The Azores. This is my second Eyewitness Top 10 book with the first one providing to be very indispensable during my trip to Iceland last year. What can I say, it proved useful once again. It has a breakdown of the most popular attractions per island, per attraction, per area, and even where the best places to eat and where to find the best views!

Accurate but poorly organized.
This is the only guide I took to the Azores (because there are not many to choose from). My biggest issue is that it is not well organized. You have to jump from category to category to find information on the specific island you are staying on. This means dog earring the pages in order to be useful. I was forever thumbing through information about islands I had no chance of visiting in order to find information about the island I was on. Which made this guide frustrating to use. Since island hopping is NOT easy, I think all the information about each island should be on the same place. Complaints about the organization of this guide aside, I was on Sao Miguel from May 25, 2018 - June 3, 2018 and the guide was completely accurate. However, I found that getting tips from the hotel staff made for better restaurant and excursion choices than going by the guide's suggestions.

This is one of the best travel books that I have ever read
This is one of the best travel books that I have ever read. I am planning a trip to the Azores and have been searching for quite a while for information relating to the sights there. This book filled the bill better than I could have ever expected. I intend to use this series anytime I am going to travel in the future.
