My 92 year old mother has sensitive skin and likes to sleep under something soft and smooth. This is perfect. It’s light but warm and very comfortable against her skin. I’m very satisfied with the quality. The little flower rounds of lace are irritating but we will take them off.

I got this blanket as I wanted something light for spring and fall for the couch. It us perfect for those times - not too hot and not too cool. Just a touch of each. It makes a great napping blanket and feels wonderful.I'm rather hot natured, so I don't think it will be good for myself come summer. I have bamboo and ice silk blankets for those times. Still this might surprise me.If you are looking for a satin feel (and look) blanket - then this one is for you. Just pay attention to the sizes for best results. I would love additional colors like blue and purple, but I'm good with silver as well. It does add some brightness to the room. Also, I have curly hair and I can use the blanket as a cover for any pillows if needed to protect my hair - no matter what season it is.

its very silky and light weight matches my wall and pillow cases perfectly. Only complaint its very slippery haha! I washed it on hand wash on cold and dried it in 40 minutes came out perfect no issues.

When I first got this blanket I absolutely loved it. I used it as my main blanket on my bed. I’m a warm sleeper but I have to have a blanket to sleep, this was very soft & silky and it does help keep me cool when needed, while also providing the perfect amount of warmth when needed. However, by about 6-8 months old it was really no longer soft. A lot of fuzzy pilling and small runs/snags making it pretty scratchy. I don’t have animals running all over it, no crazy usage, just average sleeping, no velociraptor nails/toe nails to justify this amount of wear. You’d think I’d had it for at least several years. So if you need it short term/guest bed/infrequent use I’d say it’s perfect, but you plan to use it regularly, don’t plan for it to last very long.

This blanket is extremely silky soft. It is very nice and a great value for the money. I did not even realize when I bought it there were tiny pink flower appliqués on my pink blanket. They’re very very weakly stitched on and most of them have already ripped off. That is the only criticism I would give this blanket. Otherwise it is wonderful.

The blanket is not "silky" - it's a moderately scratchy satin weave of polyester. Not the worst, but certainly nowhere near silky soft. It is not at all cooling, in fact it retains heat a bit too much for how thin it is. And that brings me to the next bit - it's way too thin. It's barely more than two thin layers of polyester sewn together. There feels like there may be something resembling filling inside, but it's extremely thin if so. It is also a pain to wash - wrinkles a lot, and since it's so thin any drop of liquid goes straight through both layers immediately.
