Purchased this speaker at the beginning of last summer. It connects very easily to any phone or Bluetooth. Has a terrific sound quality and is built very durable. It is also waterproof and portable. We used it in our pool the last two summers and it has held up amazingly. Battery still charges full and has a very usable volume control balance.

I was impressed with how loud this speaker is. I work in a kitchen and use it at my job and have no problem hearing the music. Of course, you're not going to get the best sound quality at this price but it's not bad. The only con (besides sound quality) I can think of is that after a few charge cycles battery life tends to shorten. It used to last 8 hours but now only lasts about 6 after 4 months of daily use. I still feel that 5 stars because at this price it's fantastic.

Like most of the other reviews say, this is seemingly a well made portable speaker and I like the ability to charge a phone or other external device from the battery. My wife absolutely loves it, especially the boom factor. So for the price, it was a great deal. For me, well, the sound is quite "boomy" and although it gets very loud, don't expect clarity or high quality sound. For a speaker with separate tweeters, I have heard much better sound from dual cone single drivers. The high frequencies seems dull and overall vocal clarity is just not there. Compared to similar JBL ( albeit 3 times the price) models, there is simply no comparison. Why companies cannot use better quality speaker components that would cost a few dollars more, but sound so much better, is beyond me. One other issue, there is no auto power turnoff so the unit stays on until the battery is exhausted, or you manually turn it off. Not a deal breaker by any means, but a timer to turn it off automatically after say 5 minutes of no audio, would be a nice feature. So overall, it is a very decent unit that is sure to make most people very happy.Update 2 weeks later: It turns out most of the sound quality issues are with the bluetooth connection. I bought a USB C to 1/8 jack adapter on amazon for my phone ( Pixel 7A) to hardwire the connection and it made all the difference. The sound is much clearer and the bass more defined. That brings up another issue in that I don't have that issue with my bluetooth headphones or Bose speaker, but at least I now can enjoy the speaker much more. So for best quality, avoid the blue tooth connection.

Bought this as a gift for my parents and it is way nicer than I thought. Light weight, great size and super loud. I was actually surprised when I met my mom for camp and she brought this to use outside. Would absolutely buy again
