I've been using this for months with no loss or gain in the minutes. It's really cool looking and makes no noise at all.FYI the dark color is not black but you have to get close or have bright lights to tell the difference - it's actually more like a metallic root beer color.

I removed 1 stars because the color blades on mine to not line up like in the picture. I can see from reviews that the blades line up differently. So when I look at it, I almost looks crooked but it’s not. It might because I know how the blades should be…hubby says it doesn’t look off at all. I still think it’s beautiful and I don’t current plan to exchange it,but if I did, I’d still want this design.This vendor more accurately represents the colors. You see this same clock many times over and the reviews show that it’s much darker than the product picture. This company took realistic pics. That said, I wish it were the brighter colors for my wall, but I still love what I have.It came wrapped so well, with care. It includes a spare set of face hands but they did such a great job of protecting the whole clock and even covered the hands on the face, so you won’t need the spares.NOTE: There is a protective plastic coating on the cloak face so be sure to pull that off and you can easy remove the remaining little pieces by carefully using tweezers.

This is on my dining wall and it makes a bold retro statement. The colors brighten up my walls and offset my black and gray dining table. Stunning
