It really does make a difference
I did a side-by-side comparison with "workman's friend" on one foot and this on the other one. Result: an appreciable difference in irritation, with this one working much better.I still washed them both with Tecnu poison ivy scrub afterward, of course (really THAT is the #1 product you need if you have Poison Ivy in your area), but. This did make a difference! And will probably protect against other (milder) irritants as well.

The best
I usually get poison ivy really badly when I disc golf. Yea you can put dawn dish soap but I felt weird doing that for some reason. Found this stuff and it's amazing. I have not got any posion ivy at all this year, and recommend this to anyone. If you are on the fence of getting this, what are you waiting for?

This stuff really works for me!
I'm an avid gardener and my neighbors have a huge mess of poison ivy but the whole family seems to be immune, so they do nothing to kill it. And I have to fight it back off my property because I'm terribly allergic. This year I have been using the Coretex IvyX Pre-Contact Skin Barrier Gel paired with a Tecnu skin cleanser for after exposure. And I'm ECSTATIC with the results!! I've had 0 reactions since!!!! I sure hope they never discontinue this product as I am now a lifelong customer.

My savior!
I have systemic reactions s to poison ivy! I mean horrible.....1 exposure took 2.5 mo this on high dose steroids to get rid of it! This gel WORKS! I used it on my arms, neck, and face. I wear long sleeves, overalls and gloves too. I love to garden and this product allows me to do what I love without the horrid reaction. I will buy it again, gift it, and highly recommend it to everyone.

100% effective
I bought this because Ivy Block isn't available any more, but this works just as well, if not better. I'm very sensitive to something in my yard, though it's not poison ivy and I have no idea what I'm allergic to. Every year I'd get a contact dermatitis when doing yard work and weeding. Sometimes it was so bad I needed a course of oral steroids to clear it up. Now, as long as I remember to apply my IvyX before going into the weeds I do not break out at all. It's too bad for the people who said this product didn't work, but maybe they didn't use enough of it. IvyX has been 100% effective for me and I highly recommend it.

It works
After my 4th round of poison ivy, I started using this before doing outdoor work and going for ATV rides in shorts. It definitely puts the barrier there needed to avoid the urushiol. However, I also recommend using in combination with a post-contact scrub immediately after finishing outside where you may have been exposed.
