30 Inch Fire Pit

When I rated this initially, I gave it a low rating because I had to drill some holes that were not lined up. After using it for a while, it is a great product in that it burns so nicely due to the design with side venting and bottom venting. You end up with nothing but ash left, totally burned the wood be it sticks, tree branches or large pieces of firewood. So I would now give it a 4 1/2 as the inconvenience of holes problem is far outweighed by how well it works.

Great price. Not as heavy duty as I was expecting, that is why it received a lower rating. Have to see how it holds up. Easy to assemble.

If you are reading this review, my first suggestion is to ignore the negative reviews. Unless parts were missing, this is a breeze to set-up. If someone had a problem putting this together I suspect that they are mechanically challenged or were trying to assemble it with a pocketknife and a straw. From the time I opened the box until completion of the assembly...26 minutes. I could probably have done it faster but I have dogs that insist on supervising and helping out. Uncertain why "manueverability" is a review subject, but the handles do make it easier to move, relocate, and dump ashes than some previous pits I've had. My firepits are normally used to get rid of yard debris, and I just cut everything to fit the pit. My firepits are also great for eliminating those pesky beers that occasionally pile up in the fridge. Also uncertain why "Heat resistance" is listed as a review qualifier...it's a firepit and it's going to get hot. Have I ever had a firepit that melted? Nope. Does it hold wood, leaves, cardboard, sticks, and other materials and help them to burn? Yup, sure does. And while I've used them in the past, it looks a damned sight better than a 55 gallon drum full of pick-axe holes. Mesh screens around the circumference of the pit ensure plenty of airflow while ensuring no embers or ash make their way out of the pit. Mesh lid does an effective job of minimizing upward spark travel as well. It's well-built, looks good, does what it's supposed to, and doesn't leave scorch marks on a wooden deck. Get it!

Only reason I gave heat resistance 3☆ is because I lit it for the first time a couple hours ago and the flame screen mesh started warping

The only problem is the screen cover for the topfire pit. Screen poor quality very thin. But other than that great.

I absolutely love this firepit. It is beautiful, well designed and makes a nice statement. And it’s a perfect size, not to small, and not to big. We will be using it a lot. It is exactly what you see.
