Big Boss Cold Press Heavy Duty Slow Masticating Juicer with Reverse Function

The best juicer in the world for this price. I have it for a year now and I use it every day and I juice over 100 oz a week and still using it. I was looking for a juicer that juices ginger and I did not want to use the juicers with regular round sieve because I had one and was a disaster when it comes to ginger. This juicer squeezes ginger dry. Big Boss Juicer, I love it, love it, love it, love it. I don't normally do reviews but this one I had to do because I am a juice freak and I juice a heavy volume of juice every week. I juice everything from spinach, kale, lime, lemon, carrot, beets, cucumber, turmeric, ginger, celery, every fruit (name it I juice it), vegetable, and lemongrass. It juices very well, low noise, easy to clean, easy to assemble and take down. I am lack/short of words to describe this machine.My only con is that when I juice the lemongrass I have to remove the small knob in front so it can spit out the chaff, otherwise it will squeeze the juice and the dry chaff will be stock in the front part of the machine and it is very difficult to open the machine when the dry chaff is stock. Also, the feeder is small and I have to cut up my fruits and hard vegetables, buy baby carrots, or add leafy vegetables little bit at a time.Otherwise this is a great product for home use and for the price. I am still using the one I have and I am about to buy another one and this will be the juicer I will always buy. Take my word, this machine is the best because I have a cancer patient and this is the juicer that I have been using to make fresh juices every-day and she is feeling much better now.

I love my juicer! It was affordable and gets the job done. It's easy to assemble and cleaning it isn't too bad. The hardest part to clean is the filtering basket, but a brush is provided to help clean it. I wish that the mouth was bigger. You have to slice cucumbers and carrots into quarters lengthwise. I find that baby carrots work best. Also, don't overfill the juice collecting container because it can be tricky to remove from the holding area. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

very good mastication juicer . I have tried so many other high quality juicers but never a mastication juicer because I thought uggg its to slow etcBUT this juicer made me believe . I cant say enough good things about this little jem !!!!!!!!!!!!1-its cost effective affordable and high quality thank you big boss company !!2-its so easy to use ,you don't even need the instructions , but I read anyway just to be sure :)). it is easy to clean and disassemble like a dream . the brush is great ,helpful.3-it is the great for use for wheat grass , and other juices .the fiber come out so dry ! and the collection vessels are easy to use . the juices that are mastication taste so much better .Addendum 2018 follow upi have been using this power horse for 2 + years and it is great .wheat grass veggies , easy clean up so that makes juicing doable . recently had a part problem and the customer service is superior .thank you

Out of the box it worked great. After disassembling and cleaning it, it stopped working - it just beeps :-( Nothing in the product manual about what to do if it doesn't start and beeps, so after disassembling and reassembling a dozen times I'm giving up. So very disappointing, especially since I just spent $50 on fresh fruits and veggies.

It is good to watch the juice coming out in comparison with the manual one.The cons are: it is heavy, it is hard to put the juice container out, it flows along the juicer container while pouring out, and it is hard to clean the metal filter.

After doing a lot of research I ordered this as my first juicer and I did not like it. It got clogged often and quick and the clean up was a pain. I felt that the pulp was to moist and that not all of the juice was squeezed out of it. So I returned it after one use and purchased another juicer that I am very happy with!

This is my first masticating juicer and I am very happy with both the product and the price. I juice every weekend. I juice twelve 12oz mason jars a week and this juicer definitely does a good job. Sometimes I run the pulp again if I see it is wet but usually run it through one time. I like that the juicer shuts off if it becomes clogged which stops it from overheating.Cleaning is not hard on this, I like to clean the juicer and parts right after juicing. It does come with a brush to clean the filter piece and hard to reach areas.

Hello, I give the juicer a 4 only because I've had it for a month so far. It's been working great, people have written in that theirs broke right away or didn't start right away. Well read the instructions. I cut all my fruits and vegetables up and have had no problem. the instructions say that there's a paws when you first turn on the machine. So enjoy, I've lost 20lbs in 3 weeks, a little to fast so I've had to add in a regular meal or two.

Ordered this juicer on a Thursday with free shipping and it arrived today (Tuesday). My husband made some juice before he went to work and I made some later in the evening so it's only been used twice but it seems to work great so far. I've tried carrots, celery, kale, spinach, apples, ginger, beets, lemon and cucumber, all with no issues. The pulp didn't come out SUPER dry, but I ran it through again and it got a little more juice out, so that's an option if you really want to make sure you get ALL the juice. It does a pretty good job on the first go though. If you do run the pulp through again, follow it with some carrot or apple to help clean things out a little more before turning it off.It comes apart (and goes back together) for washing with minimal effort. There's a little brush included to clean the filter which is very helpful. The other parts wash off really easily.A big bonus to me is that I don't find it very loud, which is important when you live in an apartment and want to be able to juice before leaving for work early in the morning. I don't even think it's louder than my hair dryer, so I don't have to worry about waking my neighbours!All in all, this is a great deal for the price considering most other masticating juicers are at least $100 more. We are beginner juicers and didn't want to spend too much starting out. Unless something changes (and I will update if we encounter any problems), this was definitely the right choice.

For the money I spent I think it is worth it. I find cleaning pretty easy. I use it every day, I like that the motor isnt too loud.

I've been using this product every morning since it arrived, within a week of placing my online order. I had seen the product in action at a friend's home, and had heard rave reviews from others as well. My online research indicated this was the best style of juicer for our use (horizontal masticating/grinder, with vertical drop into the grinding area). I love the results, and can feel my liver perking up daily with the increased nutrition (better than the commercial vitamin supplement I used to take). I do miss the fibre that was left in when I used the blender (though it required eating with a spoon), so I make sure to juice only once and chew and eat veggies and fruit at least 3 times more each day. I like the clarity and quality of the juice, the ease of cleaning the various parts, and the simple method of putting it all back together. We wash dishes by hand, and the brush that came with the unit is great for cleaning the fine mesh piece. It's nice to know that the parts are dishwasher-top rack safe, for when we remodel the kitchen and put in the dishwasher. The online price, shipping included, was better than the best local pre-tax price in stores (and they were all sold out in my town, too).

i can't recommend this juicer enough, i really can't! i read many reviews before buying my first juicer and i'm so happy i settled on this one.This juice is masticating so it uses a slow motor to turn and push strongly into a screen to squeeze all of the juices out of your veggies and fruits. it's super easy to throw together each morning and i put all pieces in the dishwasher, except the screen which has to be scrubbed with the little brush by hand. this baby has been making me juices EVERY single morning for over a year now, the screen has recently cracked in one of the joints, like due to me putting in too large pieces of carrot. however it still works like a charm! getting a year out of a machine that i use EVERY single day, especially at this price, this machine is more than worth the money! you know you're getting all the health benefits of the juice because of the slow grinding process as opposed to the fast shredding process other centrifugal juicers use. you won't be disappointed! when mine finally does crap out, i intend to buy the exact same model!
