Great for Victron Wire Clamps!
I purchased these ferrule crimpers to finish up my install of my Victron Multiplus II. The Multiplus has spring loaded wire clamps for the AC input and output wires. This crimper makes nice square wiring ends which worked very well in the Multiplus. You need to have pretty strong hands to operate the crimper on 6 gauge wire and copper ferrules but it is very doable with this crimper. The crimper produces crimped ferrules with grooves spaces about 1/16" apart which help spring loaded clamps like the Victron uses to grip the wire. I tried to find a local seller of a similar tool within 100 miles but could not which is why I ordered this from Amazon. VERY happy with my purchase!

Feral crimp set
OK, this is a crimping tool kit not a wheel Ferrell, but a Farrell for crimping on like when you have wires that are stranded and they’re gonna go into a connector you shouldn’t do it that way you should either solder them so the strands don’t come apart or use this tool so when you screw the screw down, it doesn’t break the little wires and they come out. It makes it nice and clean and neat and this kit came with a whole bunch of different sizes and I think you’ll be happy with it. You could actually if you wanted to you could buy other sizes and refill the ones you use that’s what I do because I use a lot of the really small ones but then I also have some tights what I need to use the 10 gauge one and this will work. It’s a pretty handy comes in a nice case you’ll like it. I like it we all like it people like it. They see it they want it they can’t have it because this is what I paid for so it’s mine, but I let them stare. I didn’t. I don’t let them touch it because I don’t share my tools because people steal, and I don’t like that when people steal my stuff because I work hard to get it and it’s mine so you should get this kit. It’s a pretty nice kit. I highly recommend it.

Very Useful and nice Quality
So Glad I found these a game changer in Wiring 12 volt where you want to avoid a possibility of wires touching each other. Install is super easy and the end results look CLEAN

The crimper worked nice for me.
This is my second square crimper. The first one I got was only good down to 7awg and I needed to use it on 6AWG wire. The other one I got came with a kit of ferrules and I noticed that I could use the size below the stated AWG on the ferrule and it seemed to produce a slightly nicer crimp. My 8AWG could go on my 6AWG wire and my other crimper could handle it. But the stranded wire I needed to crimp I had tinned and the ferrules I had didn't slide over. The 6AWG ferrules I got didn't fit in my crimper which is why I purchased this one. The crimp was nice and tight, wouldn't come loose it wasn't perfectly square on one corner. I think this is from the over sized ferrule I mentioned earlier. The Preciva Crimper worked well and as long as it keeps it up I recommend it.

Easy to use Crimper
This a great crimping tool! I used it while doing some wiring work on my RV. It is a time saver and efficiently crimped 6 & 8 Awg wire with the appropriate ferrules. Definitely recommend this tool!

The Tool is Amazing, but the Ferrules are odd Sizes
I was building a DIY solar system and the inverter called for the use of ferrules to make the connections. I didn't want to void my warranty so I decided to jump on Amazon and purchase the crimp tool and some ferrules. While searching I came across this set that had the crimp tool and the ferrules and decided to order it. Once it arrived I went to use it and it worked great on the 10awg and 6awg wires but the 8awg would not fit and about 30% of the crimped ferrule just slid right off. The tool heavy duty and perfect but the ferrules that come with the set are not that great. I suggest getting the tool only and purchasing your ferrules separately.

Good for the price
The tool seems well built. Or at the very least, plenty good for what I need. I suppose in all other ways, they are about as good as one can buy if not using every day for work and need just for around the place. Honestly, they might hold up fine in a professional work environment too. They seem fairly sturdy.

Good for crimping ferrules, zero issues with it any crimps made with it so far
I used this to crimp ferrules for my home built 3d printer and other devices, and have not had an issue with any ferrules that I installed into my machines since I bought this. I would highly recommend buying this since using ferrules is safer than bare wire strands. It also makes switching out wires feel easier than worrying about wire strands being tucking in. Grip feels great, it feels very durable, and I haven't had a problem with any ferrule sizes not fitting in this, even the smallest ones work well.

C'est mon nouveau joujou... Presque j'aime bricoler l'électricité maintenant !
