Works beautifully, took a little trial and error to get it right but it came out perfectly

I would love to decorate cakes but the thought of doing all of that work to create a beautiful piece of art only to have someone eat it??? Ahhh! I can't. I tried using air dry clay but these moulds are super detailed and tiny. I accidentally found a video showing that you can use acrylic caulk in these. you press it in, and use a very thin razor like scraper to remove the excess, also a warm lint free cloth to remove any chalky type residue from the surface. Dry thoroughly. I tend to let this dry for a full 24 hours. It then comes right out of the mould and is flexible and strong. Can add to bottles, cans, furniture, whatever it is you're working. Quite a stunning mould and very large, a lot bigger than I anticipated but that works for me!

I GAVE THIS WITH TWO OTHER ITEMS AS GIFTS TO A PASTRY CHEF. SHE LOVED THEM. I GAVE HER EDIBLE LACE MIX TO USE. SHE SAYS SHE CAN'T WAIT TO USE THEM.

I used a pre bought sugar lace mix when using this mold. Required baking after each application into the mold. Required two applications for each piece of lace. No matter how I applied the sugar lace, only two of the four molds ever pulled up. The other two broke everytime. (I did it 7 times) Two of the lace molds are designed so thin that the sugar lace broke when pulled out. I also learned that you have to wash the mold after every use or the next batch does not come out as clean. Two stars for the two lace lines that worked.
