Really good!
I am really impressed with this little deal. The carb I had, had a broken tube down the side of it that wasn't available separately from the carburetor itself. This one isn't EXACTLY the same as the original, but fit in there right and had places for all the original hoses, lines, etc. It made my Grizzly 600 run like a top!

Not an exact replacement, looking for answers.
I bought this for my '98 Yamaha Grizzly 600 based upon the reviews here. At first glance out of the box, it looked like a direct replacement. I addressed the size difference noted by many from the air box to the intake on the carb. But what I've noticed on this from stock is 1) There is a port for the drain line on the bottom of the bowl, but none for the Overflow. 2) The Air Vent hose mounts on the left side of the carb, not the right (positioned as if you were sitting on the bike). 3) I went to install the Starter cable/starter jet, removed the black plastic threaded plug and spring, and inside is a brass looking slotted screw. Does this come out so I can put the jet in? 4) On the orig carb, there was a black hose that ran from the left of the carb to a bracket mount located on the intake of the air box. Where does that go on this one?? Unfortunate the shop manual I bought with the bike isn't telling me much so I was hoping for some insight from those of you who have used the new carb and got it to adapt to your OEM configuration.

Worked for Rhino 660 but not exact
I believe these are more for a Grizzly than an Rhino. I installed on a Rhino 660 and it does work well. Except the carb requires the throttle cable to enter from the rear where as the factory Rhino Carb enter low and forward. Was about to get it all the work but I had to get every last bit of slack out of my cable to make it. Other wise it would have idled waayy too high. 4 Stars for the title description. This does work, but I think it should just be listed for a grizzly.Update: After a few weeks it is running great. Never had to adjust the carb at all. Can go from no to full go and it never hick ups. Other than the different routing for the throttle cable in my application this is a good carb.

The end the goes to the air box was too big. The boot that goes from the air box to the carb would not fit.

Carb works well but wasn't a direct fit, it fit well on the engine side but the air box side didn't fit, needed to modify the air box boot

Idle was perfect the bike has not ran this good as long ...
Installed on a 1999 Yamaha Grizzly 600, the bike started popping and backfiring a few eeks ago. Took the old carb off cleaned and rebuilt it, reinstalled fired the bike up and no change in pops & cracks. Did this dance a few more times. Finally decided to get a new carb. I should have done t his in the first place (hard headed am I)... When the rebuild kit cost 20 and this at 60. With your time investment and if you bought your bike used (as in my case) your fixing who knows what someone has rigged up. The install of this carb, went okay. The Intake boots were definately tight and took a bit to get it seated. Once on, the throttle cable had to be adjusted a bit but this had nothing to do with the carb just the previous owners rigging. Other than that no adjustments were needed. Idle was perfect the bike has not ran this good as long as I have owned it. the install took a few hours, but that was mostly the assembly/disassenbly of the bike and 20 to 30 minuites of trying to seat the carb on the intake boots. All in all very happy with purchase and use of this carb.

I was happy with the
I never worked on an ATV before. The carb installed without a problem. The hardest part was getting to it, which had nothing to do with the carburetor. I turned the key and it started and idled. Something it could not do before. No adjustments. I was happy with the results
