Superior, reliable cable
Star-Tech is among my most favorite go-to brands for cables. The materials, construction, and even the packaging are all superior to other brands. I've got a couple USB cameras using the augmented USB 3.0 Type B connector. Recently, I upgraded computers and now have reliable USB-C ports available for connection. So I needed such a cable as this one, with USB-C on one end and USB 3.0 Type B on the other. This Star-Tech does the trick, with confidence.

Needed cable
For me, this cable helped with my connections. Im in the DR, and the only way to get a 3.0 usb cable, was to order.... delivery got expensive, but.... could NOT, use a 2.0 usb a 3.0 was required.... if i could afford 2, i would have bought 2.

Works At Full Speed on My Portable SSD
I use this between my desktop computer and Samsung T5 portable SSD that I use for photography. Cable supports full speed (~500 MB/sec) transfers between the two and is a great short length to avoid tangling in this setup where the two devices don't need to be far apart.

1/10th of the performance
I tried this USB-C to USB-A 3.1 Gen2 cable with a SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD and it delivered 1/10th of the performance of the cable included with the Portable SSD. Very disappointed and will be returning the cable.

Kabel funktioniert einwandfrei, ich habe es als Verbindungskabel für Android Auto im Einsatz. Keine Verbindungsabbrüche. Allerdings ist das Kabel sehr steif und auch der Stecker ist sehr breit. Tatsächlich passt der Stecker durch die original Google-Hülle für das Pixel 9 Pro nicht hindurch.
