Alot of work but worth it
After comparing prices and reading reviews of all the pool paints we were very satisfied in the quality, coverage, durability and ease to apply. Seems very hard and durable but a bit slick as expected.Should be easy to touch up down the road and much cheaper than completely remortaring the pool. Worked well with the light and fitting sealing. The trick to an easy application was to do the prep work before hand.

Mix exactly as described! I found it easier to apply with a big paint brush
Easy to apply and looks fantastic! Time will tell how long it will hold up!

Yes it will work on fiberglass tubs
I love how this transformed my fiberglass bathtub shower combo. I used 80 grit sand paper and sanded the tub really well and made sure it was super clean and super dry Just look at the before and after picHighly recommend

Best value
Olympic is an excellent pool epoxy paint that will last. I highly recommend it.Epoxy pool paint and primer is not easy to work with so do you research and prep-prep-Prep.

Did a great job on our pool steps
This did a great job on our pool steps, although we did add a very fine grit sand so the steps wouldn't be slippery when wet. The steps look brand new.

New Pool
Great product and easy to use. You do need to wash your pool with TSP or equivalent cleaner first and let it throughly dry. The epoxy paint is thick and smelly but rolls and brushes on without much trouble. Follow instructions on the can and you will get great results. My only wish was that you could order a small amount for missed spots and touch up areas. My old 20 year fiberglass pool has never looked so great!

Updated review. Paint cracked 6 months later
Update. 6 months later the paint shrunk and cracked. Had to redo areas. The paint is excellent and the result is fantastic. This is the real deal. that said... the paint is really thick... which means it goes on thick, lots of elbow grease. I recommend a 4" roller (as the big roller is too difficult to handle). Make sure roller is super strong and that you have a few as a backup (the nap and roller both). whole 25k gallon pool took 8 hours. beware of fumes - have ventilation (you are down in the pit exposed to heavy fumes). expect to use about 30% more material than advertised. Pool looks awesome and I did not pay an arm and a leg. The material was superior to what pool resurfacers would use.

Hardens fast, very durable
My pool was painted about ten years ago with this. But after ten years, spots show thru and it wears thin.I partially drained my pool and painted where it was needed. Mixing was easy - I use a drill-attached stirrer. It was a warm day (85F) and after an hour it was hardening enough that using a roller was difficult. Within a couple days I was able to re-fill the pool.I did not put sand down, and the first couple weeks it was slick to walk on. After a month, the surface is getting rough enough to walk on without slipping. No big deal since you're in water anyway. This is expensive, but I expect it will last as long as the last coat. Next time, if it's as hot outside, I will likely get a thinner for it. One hour in the sun with a roller is tough. It's a thick paint.
