Daddies Are Awesome

A three star review to account for two opposing forces.1) cute book, my daughter could stare at the dad dogs and puppies for an hour.2) extremely simplistic writing- which is fine if you are reading this to a 0-2 yo. But I received this through the Prime Book Box for 3-5 year olds. Not the author’s fault, maybe marketed wrong by the publisher (although I don’t see a reading age suggestion on the copyright page). Definitely a big mis by the people who curate the book boxes. This would make the most sense as a board book for babies, not 3 year olds who are far beyond a book with as little as 8 words on 2 pages.

I love this book and so does my infant. However it was a gift for Father’s Day and it arrived in a box with other heavy items. It wasn’t wrapped for protection so the book was weathered on the spine and had dents. It ended up looking used.

The first page literally says “daddies are warm and delicious”...the most uncomfortable thing I’ve read to my daughter. Other than that the book is cute and we love the illustrations but first page is super weird.

My 3.5 year old loves all the different dog illustrations in this book and the simple sentences will make it a great ‘learning to read’ book!

My granddaughter loves this book! I purchased it for her 3rd birthday and it's just perfect for her.

This pictures of daddy doggies are sooooooooo cute!!! I love reading this book, my baby loves it too!One of our favorite books for nap time or night time, because the text is on the plain white background and is big enough, so it's easy enough to read in a dim light,The paper quality of the board book is also great!

So cute and a great gift for dad! My daughter loves dogs so she was thrilled with each turn of the page!
