Cooling my dogs

Let me start off this post by saying I JUST received these cooling pads so I can’t speak to the long-term functionality of this product yet. I will update my review if this product ends up falling short over time.Anyway, my husband and I purchased a home a year and a half ago, and the AC units were original to the house (so 1994). Yikes right? Yes, we knew the risks but in the current housing market, we did not have much of a choice.One of our nearly 30 year old 3 Ton AC units went out on us, and it was 90*+ in our house as the only remaining unit struggled to make any sort of difference. I immediately purchased these cooling pads to try and help my 3 senior rescue dogs stay comfortable until a new unit could be installed.These cooling pads really added to their comfort. I laid the pads over their dog beds, and each dog immediately went to check them out, laid down on them, and promptly fell asleep. I don’t think they have been sleeping as well as they normally do since it’s been so hot in our house - but I think these pads helped them to finally get comfortable so they could catch up on their rest.On a side note, we did get a new AC unit installed and although it’s super cool in our house, the pups are still wanting to lay on the cooling pads. This is especially true for when they go potty outside and come back into the house. And if my pups are happy and comfortable, then that’s all that matters to me.I’m so glad I purchased these. Anything to keep my 3 seniors happy and comfortable 💛

I did not like the price...we are keeping the product...over my objections!

It did cool down great before it was washed. My dog and cat loved it. I washed it with cold water and air dried it and still it lost color and doesn't feel as cool anymore.

The mat is nice and well made, it is not exactly what I was looking for, but my dog does lie on it. It gets dirty quite easily and needs to be washed. The color fades in the dryer, but comes right back as soon as it cools. We keep it on top of a 55 degree water flow we created with plastic tubing and a fish tank cooler. This is how we keep our Samoyed cool in the Florida heat. Would have preferred a matt made of plastic that could be wiped clean and perhaps a bit thicker. The resembles the thickness of a quilt.

I have a lab and be gets hot easily. Normally he will sleep on his bed and move to the cold hard floors. He won’t lay on a blanket. I assume it’s because he thinks they will all make him hot.I kind of thought it would look more like a smooth gel mat, but it looks like a blanket.Our next road trip I’ll put it in his seat where he will have to sit and lay on it. Maybe then he will figure it out and like it.I’ll update when that happens.

My two 90 lbs German Shepherd-Rottweiler-Pitbull mix dogs love this mat so much that they would sleep so close to each other just to lay on top of it! That says so much because these two always pants as they get easily hot. I will surely buy some more!

My dog, Border Collie loves this cooling mat. I have hardwood floors, and this provides a cool comfortable place for her.

My dog loves the cooling effect it has. The good thing is that when it turns white you know it has lost the cool effect. I then fold it, put it in the coolest place, which in our house is on the cistern in the cloakroom (never gets the sun!). Once it’s turned blue you know it is cool again. Easy to wash.

I did some research and finally decided on this mat for my 8 month old Labrador puppy. (I was worried he would chew a gel filled one)I am VERY happy with it. He loves it and chooses to lie on it over anywhere else. It goes white where he lies as it absorbs his heat and it definitely cools him down. It really does work.

Colcha para perros para que esten más fresquito en estos verano.Es de tela como una colcha de esas antiguas de verano lo que hace que sea mas fresca la tela y al no estar el animal en contacto con el suelo esta mas fresco y al ser acolchada mejor para sus huesos influye en que el animal no tenga problemas el día de mañana en sus huesos si no duerme directamente en el suelo mejor en algo blandito como esta alfombra.En la parte de abajo lleva goma antideslizante se ve de buena calidad y es bonita.
