There is nothing about this journal that I do not like! The leather is wonderfully tooled and finished and the paper is perfect for this journal. The clasp works great and is sturdily affixed to keep the journal closed.My first order was lost in transit and I contacted the seller. Their customer service was great and they responded immediately to my problem. They were able to find out what happened and sent another journal to me so quickly I was amazed. This Seller was most attentive and generous in rectifying a problem and the product is lovely. This is the only journal that I have purchased that has the tooling I have been looking for and I would also love to give one as a gift. . . but I fully intend to keep the one I got!I recommend this journal, Shakun Leather, and have only good things to say. Will purchased goods from them again.

I purchased this journal to use as my materica medica. It is beautifully made and thus far has served me well. The design is magical and gives my book a wonderfully mysterious feel. Good buy.

It is a beautiful looking journal. Unfortunately it did not work well with my fountain pen, that does not take anything away from the book. I gave it to my daughter who enjoys it very much

I purchased this as a gift. It arrived on time and was very attractive. My only complaint is that even though it is supposed to look distressed, one of the edges was peeling slightly on the cover. It was easily fixed by using some binding solution and I was able to give the gift as intended. I wanted to get it personalized but after several tries, the website would never give me the option to personalize it as it said. It made no difference in being able to give it as a gift. I would be slightly hesitant to order from this company again though because of the difficulty in ordering and the edge that was peeling.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well this was made for the price I paid. Very sturdy and well stitched paper. Not refillable so use it well!

Everything about this journal is wonderful! The leather is great; I am so impressed by the attention to detail. It's put together well and the paper is great to write on. I only wish I had a worthy pen!Get this journal for whatever writing needs you may have! :)
