LOVE IT FOR BIRDS IN BIRD CAGES

I'm so excited that I had to come review this nesting box! Our budgie kept laying eggs at the bottom of our cage, and since we already have 7 birds, I didn't want any more. So I figured that if I avoid putting any nesting material, she'd stop laying. But she still kept laying eggs and sat on them occasionally at the bottom of the cage. It made me feel bad to see her down there getting pooped on. So I went ahead and bought this box and other stuff so she could make her nest. She immediately moved in, laid 2 more eggs, and threw out all the nesting material I got her, lol! Laid on them for about 3 weeks, and one just hatched this morning! It's on bare wood, but that was her choice, lol! Didn't want to bother her. I'm attaching a few pictures and a video of when she left the box for a few seconds to eat. I saw her feeding the chick, but I don't want to disturb her now, in hopes of its survival. I'm so glad I got this box. I gave her her privacy, moved the other birds to another cage because I noticed that they were intruding. My kids are so excited to watch this process (as am I) ❤️

The birds enjoyed and we had babies. Size and appearance very suitable for our cage. Building sturdy.

This nesting box is a great size for my Cockatiel pair when they are sitting on their eggs. They can both be in the box very comfortably. I love the fact that there is a clear acrylic back side that I can keep an eye on all of them without disturbing them to much. The value of this nesting box is spot on and I usually buy several at a time since I have several pairs. The quality of the wood and the durability is very good and I would recommend them to anyone looking to have their birds breeding. And I believe they come in several sizes to accommodate different breeds of birds.

My finches did not use it at all, but will now be turned into a terrarium.

I wanted a container for a display that looked like birds for sale, and th is box was perfect for the fake pigeons I bought. Even though the birds were smaller than in real life, the kids still enjoyed it. :-)
