Easy velcro to hold it on. The removable nose and mouth guard is very nice. Comfortable at 40 F degrees in gentle, not active, movement. Nice flat top makes headstands a cinch.

I do morning crossing guard duty at a school near the Canadian border and wanted the best for Winter mornings. This is a very good balaclava. I didn't give it 5 stars because of the high price (I paid $60). The neoprene gets a little wet in sub-zero weather after an hour. The eye slit is just right so that cold air doesn't get in. It is also nicely fitted for my head which is rare for me.
