So, this is what I tried. These arrived in great shape, but with desertcart that’s not always true with chips (I’ve received chips packed with paint cans, and with books without great success as you can imagine). These had their own box. They arrived quickly and fresh (better even than the store used to sell).

Good munch
Real tasty chips, but they were a little small pieces

Healthier choice
No salt is important to people that have high blood pressure. I love the chips but they are overpriced. Healthy shouldn't cost double or triple.

Taste is Fine
Yes, these chips taste fine. We have ordered them a couple of times. In both instances, the chips were in small pieces rather than normal size potato chips. If you are on a no/low salt diet and like potato chips, these may be the only ones available. I guess we are spoiled and like regular size chips. The bags are in a cardboard box, but the box gets tossed around during shipping. I don't see how this can be avoided either.

A little more expensive, but REALLY great, especially for people who limit salt intake
MAIN REVIEW: I dunno if it's where/how Utz sources their potatoes, or their cooking process, but these are absolutely fantastic, by far the best unsalted potato chip I've found in North America. A slight hint of sodium that might be native to the variety of potato, but not enough to matter to my blood pressure, and there isn't any sprinkled on top. They're really well-made and/or quality-controlled; hardly ever an overcooked chip, never mind one that's singed. STUFF I'D WISH FOR: There are only three things I'm sad about not having, and none of them changed my score: 1) A Subscribe-and-Save option. I would easily order 4 or 5 of these a month. They're my primary crunchy snack, and almost my only one, with just an occasional full-salt single-serving bag of their ridge-cut chips to keep me from feeling totally deprived of my old carefree/careless snacking life. 2) 40ct boxes of single-serving No Salt Added bags like they do for their regular chips. With their ridge-cut chips, this makes portion control easier, since they're so good you're gonna want more after each handful from a big bag (which, like... good job Utz, but my weight matters). I'd prefer to purchase a box of single-serving bags over buying four or five big bags. At this point I fake it by decanting the big bags into zip-loc bags, so I wouldn't really be paying more or creating more waste. 3) A no-salt-added ridge-cut chip. If their salted ridge-cut chips are anything to go by, it'd be amazing. I always prefer ridge-cut for the texture. The salted Utz ridge-cut is the best plain potato chip I've ever had, across many brands, over multiple decades, and in different countries. YMMV but I swear by them.

Felt Like a Lead Balloon
Today I received my order of UTZ No Salt Potato Chips. Since I wanted to find out how they taste, I opened a bag and had about 6 or 7 chips. Must admit the taste wasn't too bad for no salt added potato chips. However, I almost immediately felt like I had a lead balloon in my stomach! It was an awful feeling, so I dissolved a couple of Alka Seltzer tablets in a glass of water and consumed all of it. Then I proceeded to put all 4 bags in the trash. If it feels that heavy in the stomach, just imagine what the cotton seed oil they're cooked in is doing to your arteries. Heart attack, here I come!
