Let's be honest here--Okay? The Aging body (65 and over), for the average woman, can use a bit of...assistance. As a pro-ager at 65 years, rather than an anti-ager, it is my mission to present a positive and fun picture of the "senior" woman! I'm sick and tired of the "old lady" stereotype that is often coveyed. We do NOT wear swimsuits that have skirts that go past the thighs. (most of us anyway). We all don't have boulders that hit down to the waist (many of us). We want to dispel the offensive stereotype and get our body-positive clothing on--and that includes the item known as the Bathing Suit.Granted, many of us (I'm talking 'bout me here) have gained quite a few el-bees from stress eating during this pandemic. And many of us have acquired a thick mid-section due to menopause. However, it's no reason to give up on looking your best down the shore, at the lake, or pool or during your resort travels.Which brings me to this ridiculously flattering bathing suit!When I spotted this cutie advertised on a youthful and well-toned body, I thought, hmmm. Since it's advertized as "tummy slimming" perhaps this woman is really 35 pounds heavier and the swimsuit delivered on the tummy-slimmimg. In addition, the style was very chic and flattering. But--would it deliver?It did.I'm happy to report that this bathing suit is so wonderful on a good number of points. First of all, please order your regular size. IRL I'm an 8 and thanks to stress-eating I'm teetering on a 10. After mulling over the Medium or Large, I settled on the Medium. Remember, swimsuits expand when wet so you want to get as close a fit as you can.The fit? It's great. I'm just a tad under 5 feet 6 inches. My legs aren't the longest, but my torso IS long-waisted. This can cause an issue with the majority of one-piece bathing suits. Luckily, this swimsuit fits beautifully. I don't have to pull out the bottom from being wedged in between my ample cheeks AND I don't have to worry about severe camel-toe from the front of the suit riding up my origin of the world! The fit is absolutely wonderful.Does it hold in my belly? Yeah. It does--to a point. A bit of the gut still pops out, but for the most part, it sucks the bad bits in. This suit also comes with detachable soft cups. Let's talk about this for a moment. I'm a hard-cup, flotation device pads kinda woman. After years of breastfeeding and with age comes a bit of sagging. If you have the saggy girls, might I suggest investing in a pair of hard cups because they insert perfectly and give a more flattering and youthful silhoutte and hold those babies up to be at their perkiest!The rusching is also an added feature for slimming. And that neckline. Oh lord, how I love that squared-off neckline.I''ll tell you something else. My husband is Parisien. That means he believes himself to be an expert on women's fashion. (eyeroll) He usually gives the French Shrug to any one-piece I've worn but..when I exited out of the ocean in this, he gave his seal of approval and told me that this bathing suit is spectacular. So I'm gonna surprise him by treating myself to a second one that he can pay for!Look. I realize that it's July and this summer has almost passed us by . But due to circumstances beyond our control, there's still plenty of sun and swime time! But for the remaining days till the Fall, this is the only suit you will need. The comfort level is stellar, as is the fit and it is flattering to boot. And don't even get me started on the price. It's better in price AND quality than any of the garbage I've seen in department and specialty stores geared to the older woman or ANY woman .This is an excellent suit and I'm glad I ordered it.Thank you for reading this review and I hope you enjoyed it!

For reference, I wear wedding dress size 16, but size 12-14 in normal clothes and height 5'9", straight torso (not hourglass figure). According to the size chart, I should be wearing the XL, but Amazon was suggesting I get a Large. The large size worked out great. I was afraid it would be too tight or too short for my torso, but it fit perfectly.The rouching is flattering on your stomach and the suit securely covers all the areas. I opted for a one piece swimsuit this time because I had an embarrassing incident with my bikini bottoms sliding half off the last time I went boogie boarding at the beach >.< It's sexy in the way it fits, but I could see some thinking that maybe it's a bit too much coverage.If you have an unusually long torso, I'd probably err on the side of smaller, if you're between sizes in the size chart. I've tried tummy control suits before, and they typically have a bit less stretch in the tummy area than this suit to hold everything in. I still find the suit flattering, but if you're looking for legit tummy control, this might not be "tight" enough for you.

I am 5'3" 175 pounds and typically wear a 36 G/H bra, depending on the brand. It is so hard to find a comfortable, modest swimsuit that has enough support in the bust and isn't ridiculously expensive. I wear a size 14/16 and I ordered an XL in this and it fits perfectly. The ruching is very flattering to the mom pooch area and your girls will be covered and supported. I took a chance when I ordered this and fully expected to return it. I could not be more glad to be proven wrong. If you are a thick girl on the fence about this swimsuit, get it!

This suit is a nice cheerful color of yellow, it fits great around the bust and waist but the bottom part is rather baggy and long. I can adjust the length but just tugging up the ruched middle to make the bottom snugger but I know that it will easily slide down especially when water laden. I might ask a seamstress if she can add a bit of elastic on each side to keep the suit from drooping too much.I think that ordering the next size down (medium) would have been too tight in the bust. I tend to wear size 10 bottoms and size 12 tops.

Perfect fit on me. I have a 36DD Bust and I bought the Large. The leg opening are a bit loose on me but that is because I am small. I will just alter it to fit in the legs. Has pads for coverage. Comfortable and fits nice. My waist is 32" just so you kind of know what to expect. I think that there is room in this suit for somone i bit bigger to. I love it and can't waist to wear it this summer.

This is a lovely swimsuit. I ordered the blue and the color is gorgeous. The suit fit really well. It hugs your shape while camouflaging the tummy area. I would have kept the suit if there was more support in the top. I’m 32 ddd and while it wasn’t totally saggy it just didn’t provide enough lift. But wow for gals who don’t need as much support it would be perfect. if you’re considering this suit I would say give it a try. It’s beautiful.

I hate trying on swimsuit. I bought two sizes and kept the one that fit. It’s so cute. Looks adorable. Fabric is nice and it’s well made. I am buying a couple more. Price is too good to pass up.

This suit is comfortable and well made. It fits true to size. I debated between a size small and a medium but decided to go with the medium, and it fit fine. I am 5'4" and 130 lbs. I am short waisted, so a small probably would have work also. I wish it was slightly higher cut on the legs, but there is good coverage in back. The neckline is also attractive. I can't wait to try it in the water!

I bought this in the orange/red polka dots and solid purple. It has a fun, retro, pin-up kind of feel (but doesn't look garish on a middle aged mom - at least I think!) Bum coverage is substantial and the cut is flattering. I sized up this time to XL - I own a L and when the fabric stretches tight (like at the sides), it looks whitish/discoloured as compared to the tummy panel, as mentioned in some other reviews. The downside to sizing up was that the top seam of the bust section didn't lay properly. It seemed to gap often, so was constantly readjusting so it would lay flat. I also found that the tummy control wasn't as good as some of the other suits I've ordered on Amazon. I still like the suit for the price, though.

I wanted to wait until I had tested this cozzie in a pool, before writing a review. I swam 70 fairly energetic lengths, this morning, and this costume kept everything in place, perfectly.I am approaching 70, so, naturally, everything has gone a bit southwards. I have a small pot belly with a bit of an "apron". The ruching disguises both of these, nicely. The tummy control isn't as robust as a previous costume I had, but this suffices. I bought the size XL. I am 5ft 4 ins and it is a perfect length on me. I'm a bit top heavy (40DD) but with slimmish hips. This costume isn't baggy around the bum, nor too big in the legs. My bust is supported perfectly, in the water and on dry land. I have never had a halter necked anything before, but I find this very flattering, despite being well endowed, up top. I am so pleased with my purchase that I think I might buy a couple more, in different colours.

This swim suit is perfect for anyone but especially if you have a bit of a tummy. I learned last year that ruching can hide a tummy and this suit does that. I can’t wait for summer to wear it to the beach. It is sexy without being too revealing. I’m usually a large but I got an extra large just because I didn’t want to be pulling at it. I’m 5’8” and weigh 160lbs. I have three kids so the tummy is there. But the ruching basically hides it. You won’t be disappointed.

Failed to arrive by due date, supplier did refund and apologised. When product eventually did arrive it was massively oversized! Would say at least two sizes bigger than expected. Quality ok, not sure about how it would perform in the transparency test.
