CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP
The lighter portions made of plastic lol. It leaks, it feels cheap, you have to strike the match on the side of the body but there's no cover to block sparks flying into the PLASTIC CASE, so at least once in your use you're going to catch the tank on fire and possible your hand. The match portion you hold onto that produces the flame sputters randomly shooting flame in the direction you're holding which is funny if that's what your looking for. overall, very entertaining POS if you're looking to catch random objects on fire around you, not very good for normal use of anything else.

Meh...
Knife is cool, nice heavy sturdy feel, but the lighter thing, I haven't been very impressed. Can't get it open to put the liquid or whatever in it.

Nice little giftable set
This is a cute little set. The forever match is very handy, and the main reason I got this. The itty bitty knife is cute, but not really that useful. I mean, I pretty much always have a pocket knife on me. I suppose this would be handy on a keychain, or clipped to this waterproof match.I actually misplaced my main pocket knife recently, so I did grab this little guy to open a number of Amazon packages. It worked well for that. Seems pretty safe, too, with the liner lock. You certainly won't be using it for self defense, unless you have really, really small enemies. When I got this setup, the first couple of uses produced a rather large flame, maybe 3 inches. That was because the wick was new. Once it burned for a total of maybe 10 seconds the wick burned down, and it gave just a regular match flame. That's fine with me.I also didn't experiment in which I doused the lit match in water, just to get it soaking wet. When I tried to light it again, it took a few extra strikes, but it did light. So if you had to start a fire in the rain, and could find enough dry materials to do so, even if this match got soaked it should still work. That's good to know. You have to buy lighter fluid for this separately. However, there are other options. It does not say so in the description of this product, but I have seen many other waterproof forever matches just like this which say they also work with kerosene. I don't think I'm saying anything out of turn stating that. I've seen that in product descriptions for other waterproof matches right here on Amazon. Wow a lot of people don't have a bottle of lighter fluid sitting around, many people have kerosene in the garage.Because this comes with a little velvet bag, the match, and the knife, it makes a nice gift presentation. That said, there are other options in this price range where you can get multiple matches for this price. No other extras, but if you just want to give these matches to a few different people, that might be the way to go. But for a little gift to one person, this is great.

Small and fits in a man's front pocket.
Gave this to my boyfriend as a gift. He's always looking for a blade or knife and working on projects. Now he just has to reach in his front pocket and carries it everywhere. He loves it. Camping, in the garage, or just around the house it's used almost daily.
