good little tool box
this tool box works nicely and fits well. its not what you would call heaven duty but it has most of the stuff I need in it.

Mission accomplished
I bought these so I can hold my tools around for work. I didn’t want to traditional toolbox because I need the length from the tailgate to the front of the bed. The only problem I had was the plates that you mounted on the inside of the bed Didn’t fit quite perfect. But five minutes with the drill and everything worked out just fine.

Very poorly design
I purchased because of price and 8$ off coupon at check out. I have a 2020 ford ranger lariat.The bed has a spray liner so getting the hooks off was a pain to mount brackets but got that done in a reasonable time. The holes where filled with sprayin liner and I had to cut to release the hook so I didn’t pull liner off truck bed side wallThe storage box is a very flexible plastic and not very sturdy. The mounting brackets were completely out of alignment and had to bend to get to line up. The hardware they supply is NO GOOD the ford ranger has 3 holes to mount at tailgate with a #6m nut on inside of body DO NOT use the screws they give you. Go to the local hardware store and buy 3-#6m black with hex head for a clean look it’s well Worth it if the product works. The mount bracket screws where the hooks go in the ranger are a threaded nut DO NOT USE the screws they give you. They are not compatible > go to local ford dealer and get them. (I already had because I added additional brackets for hold downs.)Next I mounted the hardware after getting all holes aligned.I put the box on the hinges and it would not close. The side wall mount bracket was not inline with bracket mounted on box so I brought out drill and file and made a notch for it to close. Now that I have that all done I go to latch box and it does not align with latch. I adjusted afar as possible up and it was still 1/4” to high. I brought out a few bending tools to get to align and because of the plastic being very thin it would just not work. I am very skilled person and it took me over 2+ hours at trying to make work and it was useless so I removed all parts (20 minutes ) and put back in box for a refund.I usually write good reviews on products because all of you Out there have to know if it’s worthwhile to buy things. I can 99% of the time get it to work if it’s a bit out but this product was not worthwhile at least for me. Maybe I just got a bad one but I am not willing to take another chance.I am going to order the other company and try that one. It might be $100 more but I will see if it’s worth it.I hope this was helpful!!

Seemed like a good product, but disappointed
The product was a bit more complicated to install than expected. It did not come with the proper bolts, so I had to go to a local hardware store to get the right size bolts. About 4 months after installing, the bottom of the box fell out and my stuff was thrown about my truck bed. Overall disappointed in the product.

It's a KEEPER! very pleased
The only reason I marked down the installation is I did not care for the lesser quality bolts the company sent. I suspect they would work fine, but I prefer a grade higher bolt. The bolts cost little to nothing and they made me happier! Install took 25 minutes, I did not need to make adjustments and it lookes great, works as designed and I am actually considering the left side box as well!

Latch would not hold
I owned a box like this on my previous pickup, so I knew it would be very handy. I installed the new box in my 2021 Ford Ranger without a problem, however the latch would not properly hold the box from swinging as I drove. I tried unsuccessfully to make adjustments to the latch, but could not get it to work properly. Since it was completely installed and the package discarded, all I wanted was a new part, but Amazon's customer service department is sending out a whole new unit just so I can have a new latch.

The latch catches will not lock onti the lock bars. the catches are to small

Box is great, but requires modification to work.
If you want this to be bolt in and go, it wont work. Purchased for my 2023 ford ranger, brackets lines up everywhere except the two furthest holes with the two tie down bolt holes. Also the latch didnt line up for the box to stay latched closed. Had to modify the latch and the brackets to make everything work. Wouldve bought the swing case instead but amazon didnt have one in stock.

Interferes with box cover lock.
Could not lock box cover as the item was in the way. Had to return.
