I've tried probably a dozen different pairs of musician earplugs off amazon, and these are by far the most comfortable for wearing long periods of time. I believe they also have the best frequency response curve, so things sound fairly accurate and unchanged. I think they reduce sound level by quite as much as some of the other options, but these are perfect for me for use while playing drums.

I have a lot of sensory issues and loud noises are painful to me. These are a lifesaver in loud venues, and I get to experience the sound with no quality loss. My previous pair lasted me 5 years, I lost them and immediately came for an exact replacement. Didn't even look for other options - These are so comfortable and unobtrusive, and PERFECT at their job.

I ordered these earplugs at the recommendation of my son's high school band teacher. She said she had them since college drum corps and really liked how they worked as well as their durability. The earplugs arrive in a round plastic case, with a left and right plug. My son tried them out the instant he got them. He was amazed how well they allowed him to hear things around him, but just made loud and ambient noises quieter. He used them the next day at marching band practice and was very happy with how well they worked quieting even the percussion. If you have someone in marching band I highly recommend these earplugs to save their hearing, but still allow them to listen to their director/field commander/drum major, and the music.

My husband has a pair of these and loves them. I was looking for good earplugs to use while working, flying, and maybe even for sleeping while traveling. The decible rating on these is similar to other sleep earplugs, so I gave them a go. My husband's size Medium were giant and wouldn't fit in my ears. I tried an extra small because I generally have kid sized ears (ear buds are always too big!). The extra smalls were TINY. Like baby sized. Not something I could remotely use.The seller was awesome and sent me replacemeny sleeves in size small at no charge. The sleeves came quickly and were easy to replace. I'm so happy I didn't have to return or throw away this product.Unfortunately, I can't quite get the smalls to fit my ears. I don't think they're too big or too small, but something about the shape just doesn't work. I put them in and no sound is blocked. I can still hear the faint tapping of my dogs claws on the floor, and I can hear him quietly lay down.These are fine earplugs, but must not be for me.

After running into these at a Guitar Center, I have not bought any pair from another company again. I’ve tried others in the past, but they muffle the sound too much and are way too uncomfortable to be wearing for extended periods of time.After trying these though, I found that I kept forgetting I was even wearing them. The sound quality is almost identical to what you hear when you aren’t wearing them. They’re virtually invisible to others, and they reduce the volume incredibly.

We se lots of shows and these are hearing savers. Decent should still comes thru, just less of it. I've even bought as gifts for other concert goers. Just be carful to watch the ear size when you order! No always well marked in the ad.

I've had custom earplugs made for me in the past. And they were naturally the most comfortable. However, after my last set of custom molds came out atrocious, I decided to simply find a generic set that I liked and that disappeared in my earThese were that set. I started with the extra small because normal size was out of stock. And they did just what I needed them to do. Other earplugs would slowly work their way out of my ear and I'd have to constantly push them back in along with them being uncomfortable, especially the ones with multiple cones.There might be a concern about how protective these are with the huge drop off away from their best frequency, which is where the 31dB comes from. But in my view, an earplug isn't going to work well if it's too uncomfortable to wear and constantly dislodging itself anywayI ordered a second set later in normal size. They seem to fit fine but I haven't given them a good run yet. I really might just prefer the extra small size better. I'll update once I know for sure

Have tried multiple other brands including eargasm and even expensive custom fit ones. These are the best sound quality and attenuate the top end without muffling too much. Trust me, been to or played over 1000 concerts in my life.
