do the squeegees have thread in the handle to fit onto the Ettore 44016 Extension pole?

No threads. Just holes for a push pin.

What is the best extension pole for this kit? The Amazon Ad says buy with 44016 but that pole looks threaded, and the cleaning tools aren't threaded.

Hi, the Ettore poles fit the Ettore tools, even though they are threaded the tip of the pole is also a tapered end, and the tools fit snugly . This is done by design so that you can quickly take the tools on and off. Hope this helps . Windows101 seattle
