It's really gritty so you have to let it soak for a while. Even then it's too astringent to tolerate.

I have been buying Organic Banyan Botanicals Triphala powder for years and recently decided to try this one. After taking it for a week I realize that Banyan’s product is of superior quality. The product comes packed in a poor quality plastic bag that is placed inside the green bag. I won’t buy this product again.
