I'd buy it again

Five stars for how it works. But 1 star for what happened afterwards. My husband and I discovered this product while visiting our son in the UK and helping him with a project which fused wood to brick. It worked wonderfully and was still holding fast more than a year later. Impressive. After coming home to the US, we tried to find the product in hardware and box stores here. It was not available anywhere. We finally found it listed on Amazon US and ordered a tube. I believe it had to be shipped from Australia - cost was $24.00 then. Never mind, we knew it worked well and that's what we wanted. I used small amounts for a couple of repair jobs and then stored the almost full tube. About one year later, I needed to make another repair and pulled out the Serious Stuff tube. At least 3/4ths of the tube was rock hard. There was a small section towards the bottom seal that hadn't hardened. I put it away and used something else, not wanting to cut into the tube. Today I needed to fuse plastic trim to a metal exterior door. Figuring that nothing else I had would work, I cut the bottom corner of the tube to get some of the adhesive that hadn't hardened completely. The softer part was very, very thick but it appears that the repair will succeed. I like the product a lot but it hardens inside the intact tube with the cap screwed on tightly - making the majority of it unusable after a relatively short time. Very disappointed and I won't order again unless I have a big job requiring use of most of the tube at one go.

Great stuff and stuck even a concrete buddahs head to stick back to its body area that arrived damaged. However, its white and dries white so if you are going to use it, make sure the item is white or you are going to paint it (unless you apply little so the white isnt seen. In the case of the buddah head, I had little choice as the application required it to be along the buddah head neck area.

Best substance I have found to join items together. Still going strong on bonding a concrete bird bath and a new top. Also used on a small china piece. The piece broke again but not at the join. It is tough stuff. Why not 5 stars could do with a small sized tube. It goes solid at points in both tubes I have bough and never been able to finish one. I price that into the purchase now.

Did the job perfectly that it was bought for

I have a wrought iron gate at the front of the house, and someone didn't use the handle on the gate and knocked the catch off the wall. I used this adhesive and following the instructions. This morning it is solid as a rock. Metal stuck to a stone wall. Magic, thank you.
