Great read!
I have read every book by Mark Dawson and must admit to being a very big fan. They are fun, well written and very hard to put down! The Avenger - an Isabella Rose Thriller is no exception, and while I do prefer the John Milton series, I thoroughly enjoyed this latest Isabella Rose adventure. I did find the end quite sudden and rather unfulfilling, but can only imagine that will be answered in the next book. One thing learned from this book is how beautiful Perpignan looks. I have lived in France, but never been to Perpignan, and as a fair bit of this book takes part in the city I Googled it to take a look and it is certainly now on my to do list. What a stunning city!

very Interesting
I enjoyed the book immensely. Bella as an 18 year old, struggling to come terms with her future may have made more mistakes than she did. It’s possible of course that her Phoenix qualities could have extended to her socialisation skills, but that might have made the plot more difficult for the author.I’m sure we have not heard the last of Pope.Funds never seem to be an obstacle for the good guys.

Isabella gets her man...
Fast-paced, engaging and intriguing. Isabella Rose is coming of age - and getting truculent with Pope, her erstwhile foster parent. She is starting to do things normal teenagers do but she isn't normal, and most teenagers don't have Chinese super soldiers on their tail.A great conclusion to the Isabella quintet. I hope there will be more.

Pope and Isobella
In hiding as Step Dad and daughter. Isobella was no ordinary teenager, Pope protected her but longed to see his own two daughters. When Isobella became close friends with another teen her age, Chloe, a possibility arose for both of them to look to the future, Pope with his family and Isobella to find freedom to be a normal teenager. The rest of the novel takes us on a rollercoaster ride when their plans do not work out. The pursuit of Isobella is endless, her capture priceless in the wrong hands.. The twists and turns are endless with an unexpected ending.

Decent read
I’ve found the previous Isabella novels pretty awful really, terrible stories, she should have been a modern version of her mother but not so, the first chapter of this one almost made made me stop right there, but actually apart from the whole idea of her “condition” the book itself was good to read fast paced and I’d say the best of a bad bunch, so certainly worth getting. I was just looking for something to read between spreadsheets etc, and it was ok. Based on this, I’d probably now get the next one, but wish it was a bit more realistic. The fight scenes are as ever really silly, but used to that now

Great read
From one adventure to another the story rolls on drawing you into the characters. Each chapter and page compelling you to read on. An excellent read.

Tremendous series of books
Brilliant as usual from Mark Dawson, the characters and plot's beautifully woven together with hooks to keep your interest going all through. I read the whole Isabella series back to back.

Mark Dawson Author Extraordinaire
Mark Dawson is a fantastic author, his books are extraordinary. His plots are believable as well as his characters. Since he is English, he uses many words that are different from American English. Thank goodness I have a Kindle app and use that on my iPad, where I am able to click on the word to find out its meaning. It is amazing how many words mean something totally different than what we use in the USA. It makes reading his books that much more enjoyable. Thank you, Mark.

Good ending of the series.
A good ending of the series with the possibility of new episodes left open. I hope the author will continue the Isabella Rose series.

Spannend bis zum Schluss
Es lohnt sich, die ganze Reihe zu lesen. Hohes Tempo, spannende Story. Der Schluss kommt etwas plötzlich und hätte besser sein können, aber insgesamt empfehlenswert.

Intrigue, action, books for grown up kids
I read a whole stack of these Mark Dawson books, just shopping around, looking for stuff to read. I do tend to get sick of these kind of books; found a lot better stuff since then.
