Nespresso the “Best” espresso/coffee maker I have owned.
I have enjoyed the Nespresso for a few weeks. For its manufacture quality, the superb coffee drinks it produces and ease in using, it is arguably the “best” I have owned. I also have a Keurig that doesn’t get much use, and a Professional La Pavoni that is performance art while using, but not easy. (Also: The Nespresso milk foamer works amazing! Makes thick, creamy and hot milk for cappuccinos.)Quiet operation! Modern design. Awesome product!

Commercial quality Elegant style
Heavyweight like commercial. Very little assembly needed. Matte finish blended well with cylinders on each side. 1 side holds water other holds used coffee caps. Makes 7.7 oz plus frothing so Id say need a 9oz or larger cup. Very hot coffee too.I had a couple different Kureg in past & went back to normal coffee pot.I feel in love with this at a Resort on Vacation. It fits our 2 family house hold well. Plus I can see the quality will take care of multi family just as well. Zero complaints.

Best Coffee Maker for the Home
The media could not be loaded. I needed a coffee maker for my home. I used to get my daily coffee fix at my office. However, I have been working from home since the onset of COVID. What I wanted was a easy and fast cup of coffee. I also wanted a coffee maker that offered plenty of variety. Also, it had to be dependable ... I did not want to be investing in a new coffee maker every six months. After a few days of research I decided to buy the Nespresso Vertuo Coffee and Espresso Machine by Breville with Aeroccino. I am so glad I did ... it has been exactly what I wanted ... and more!My research suggested that if I wanted an easy and fast cup of coffee with plenty of variety I needed to buy a pod style coffee maker. Pods allow you to change up flavors and types at your whim without any concern that the coffee will lose its fresh taste. Also, pods are easy and fast ... put the pod in the machine ... press a button ... and in a minute you have a hot cup of coffee.I looked at both Keurig and Nespresso and decided Nespresso was for me. Reviews and comments from friends and family suggested that Keurig coffee tends to taste watered down while comments on Nespresso said that the coffee had a rich, bold taste. I was sold on Nespresso, but now which machine to buy? There is the Nespresso Original and the Nespresso Vertuo. Both make great coffee ... but the Original is focused more on European style espresso while the Vertuo makes espresso as well as full sized cups of coffee. Vertuo seemed like it offered more options, so that is what I chose.Next, I had to decide on the type of Nespresso Vertuo machine I would buy. I have a strong preference for Breville appliances. Breville products are well built, durable and look nice. When I found that Breville makes a Nespresso Vertuo machine I was sold ... that was the one for me. I placed my order with Amazon and a few days later I was brewing coffee at home one cup at a time.I have been using this machine for several months now and have no complaints. It is everything I had hoped for ... and more. The machine is relatively quiet when brewing. I attached a video with sound so you can hear the machine do its thing. It takes about a minute to brew a full cup of coffee. My machine came with a milk frother quickly produces a warm frothy milk. There are many pod options available for this machine. There are espresso pods which make a 2oz to 3oz shot of espresso. There are 5oz to 7oz pods ... up to XL pods that produce a 14oz cup. Nespresso uses a 1 to 10 scale to define the strength of the coffee, with 1 being mild and 10 being extra bold. I have found my sweet spot is in the 4 to 6 range.I mentioned the machine is everything I wanted ... and more. The "more" part can be seen in the video. This machine produces a nice full bodied crema. The machine reads a bar code on the underside of the pod. The barcode tells the machine the type of coffee being brewed and how quickly to "spin" the pod to produce a perfect crema. I attached a picture of a pod so you can see the barcode. This is much more than I expected ... and makes for an enjoyable cup of coffee every time.I have no complaints about this machine. It is easy to clean and simple to use. I highly recommend it. Five stars.

Makes Excellent Lattes at 1/3 the Price
One of my favorite types of coffee is a hot latte. I used to be a regular customer at Starbucks. Their latte was very good and reasonably priced. But the quality of their product started going downhill a few years ago as did the quality of their in-store experience. To boot, their prices shot up. So, I began searching for alternatives. A relative we stayed with had this Breville Nespresso Expresso machine in their house that my wife and I liked a lot. The one I ordered included a milk frother. My very first latte was as good or better that the best latte I ever had at Starbucks. And every single latte I have made has been nearly perfect. I'm guessing that the cost per cup at home is about 1/3 the price out. This product is simple to operate and produces a wide variety of excellent cups of coffee. Very happy with it.

Happy birthday to me!
I ordered this for my birthday. I finally received it a couple of days ago and was planning on waiting a week before I wrote a review. However. It didn't take long to figure out how to use it and I have to say the resulting coffee is DELICIOUS.I have had a regular coffee percolator, 3 Keurigs, an old Corelle ceramic percolator with steel basket, and finally a Ninja Coffee Bar. I did not like the way coffee made with the Keurig tasted plus you were stuck with either weak coffee or using two pods. One size does NOT fit all. Then we got the do-it-yourself pod refills but by then I was done with the Keurig. Not to mention the mess made with refilling the pods. The Corelle made GREAT coffee but when you only drink one or two mugs a day you wind up having to reheat in the microwave. Then it doesn't taste the same as fresh brewed. When I got the Coffee Bar I thought my problems were solved. It's a WONderful coffee maker allowing you to fresh brew one cup, or a mug, or a travel mug, or half a pot, or a full pot. It also allows you to make faux lattes and has a whip on the side for frothing hot milk. Oh and you can brew up iced coffee as well. But it just wasn't what I wanted as far as flavor. I tried several types of coffee. And here I need to add a disclaimer ... I only drink decaf. And before someone jumps in and says that's my problem ... the lattes I get at Starbucks have PLENTY of flavor. But making them at home with Starbucks decaf just wasn't the same.Enter the Nespresso.Oh and I also picked up the lovely glass topped drawer to hold the vertuo pods. That arrived days before the machine thanks to weather in SLC. Anyway I was concerned the machine wouldn't fit under my cabinets once it was on top because of the measurements given in the description. Well the height measurement, just so you know, is done with the top part fully opened. It fits just fine.So on to the first cup (and yes, I did order a three pack of the decaf offerings). I had read in other reviews that it doesn't produce a very hot cup of coffee. So I made sure to turn the machine on and leave it on for 9 minutes (that's the automatic shut off timer) and then brewed my first cup. Tepid. After I dumped in a bunch of cream. Off to the microwave.Second time I ran it for 18 minutes and used the aeroccino. Um. Not a good idea to use the spring attachment on the whip and the top max line for milk. It REALLY whips up the froth. Since I turned off the aeroccino too soon THAT cup wasn't hot enough. Back to the microwave. This morning I used the Intenso pod and I knew it only brewed 40 ml but I still was "Where's the rest of the coffee???" once it stopped brewing. OK OK ... whip the milk. This time I took out the spring and filled to the max line (use whole milk ... mmmmm). Not much froth on top but HOT milk and HOT coffee. No need for the microwave. and may I just say -- DEEElicious!Sorry Ninja. You are destined for the pantry to only come out when company is here.Do I recommend this machine? Absolutely. Yes the coffee is expensive but I only drink one or two mugs a day. I am, however, going to have to beg Nespresso to make an Alto pod in the decaf. Other than that, this baby gets 5 stars across the board.
