Finally a low magnetic field reading
It is a nice large portable sauna that collapses and folds to three inches thick. The power supply is rated at 900 watts and it heats using carbon fiber elements. It heats up quickly. I measured three portable saunas with a new TriField TF2 EMF meter. The relatively cheap old small one had the largest reading at about 12 milligauss above the room reading, a new Radiant large sauna that looks nearly identical to the Durherm, but the material is different and the front right pocket is different, had a reading of about 5 to 6 milligauss above the room reading and the Durherm had a reading of 1 to 2 milligauss above the room reading. I made the measurements many times and so did my wife. I am keeping the Durherm, the oldest one is being discarded and the other returned. After using the Durherm sauna right before bedtime I had a more restful sleep. I plan to use it at least three times a week.

LIFE SAVER
This is a great product! We had a sleeping bag type of sauna before this for 1mth " Baaaaad" idea. You end up laying in your own sweat & ur butt gets raw. Returned it for this type & got much better results. It's clearing out the heavy metal lead poisoning from childhood and the mucus along with it. Have been using it for 8 mths now often 2x daily for 45min. Last year I was so sick I couldn't leave the house for fear of bad reactions to anything I smelled including the food I fixed at home. Now I can drive again & stay out for a few hours and smells are no longer a problem. I'm improving every month. FIR is GREAT! It has a 1yr warranty. The foot pad stopped working after 8 mths. I called them and they're sending a new one. Buy a bamboo stool to sit on. Just trust me.

Infrared range?
The Durham infrared sauna is in fact infraredand while it is useful, especially for detox, it is incomplete. The near infrared wavelength, especially 800 to 850 nm, are what cytochrome c oxidase, the fourth protein in the electron transport chain in your mitochondria, resonates with. This is important if you hope to optimize your ATP and cellular energy production. The manufacturer does not supply you with third-party analysis that shows you have levels of near infrared in the 800 to 850 nm range that are just as high as the far infrared. Heat also promotes mitochondrial biogenesis because it is a stress that triggers the release of our ROS, and ROS in this scenario call for making more mitochondria. (ROS is reactive oxygen species). It is my best guess that most everyone would benefit from regular sessions three times a week of infrared sauna therapy to remove stored toxins. You can easily measure the EMFs by turning the sauna on and using an inexpensive electrical meter to measure the field inside the sauna. The level should be below 1 milliguas and preferably below 0.3. That said, I give it 3 stars as it is not full spectrum.

Expensive Piece of Junk.....
It died in a couple months and customer support, (ie parts and service) is non-existent. Would not recommend....

Bought it for detoxing. Surprised by nice side effects of smoother skin and reduction in Candida.
Loving my sauna. I can use it without fear of EMFs, so I don’t regret the higher price. I’ve had it about 2 1/2 weeks now, and I’ve been using it about 5 days/week so far. Within a week, my skin was noticeably smoother on my upper back, arms, and face. (I’ve been getting skin sores from doing chelation, so I believe the sauna is making a difference.)I started slow, as I’d read that I should, and found that 10 minutes is pretty much useless. I don’t even start sweating until at least 15 minutes. The first time I did 20 minutes, I felt shaky about 20 minutes later. I ate something and it resolved quickly, so I think it made my blood sugar drop. Since then, I have a snack and a big drink of water before hand.I noticed quickly that I was getting bloated as I started to sweat. My gut would swell up to an uncomfortable size and it would take at least an hour or two afterwards to settle down. I did some research and some say that FIR saunas are good for treating Candida. I’m on long term antibiotics for tick borne diseases, so I do sometimes get excess yeast despite my probiotics. I just didn’t know I had a problem at that point, so that was a surprise. After a few days of daily sauna stints of 25-30 min each, the bloating went way down. Addressing yeast is a nice bonus for me, as I bought the sauna to help me detox, especially from heavy metals. In a couple months, I have my heavy metals retested to see if my levels are coming down.

Great customer service - product delivered as promised
I've used this Sauna about 5 times so far. I received the product without the bottom floor cushion and the response was immediate and I received the new cushion today. I like the feeling I'm getting while sitting in the Sauna. I've tried it both with my head in and out and feel that I'm getting more when my head is out of the Sauna. It's comfortable and easy to use.

Highly recommend .
I have bought several through years , This one is my fav , More expensive than others with FIR , Ion . It is larger also. Heats up quickly and I am in and out of this sauna , the others I seemed to take forever to start sweating. I use almost every night. Well worth the purchase , would buy again . I found a wood chair and it just stays in the sauna, more comfortable and grounded . I also liked the bottom it came with so easy to clean not flimsy like the others I have had.
