Becca Becca backlight priming filter, 1oz, 1 Ounce

I was super scared to purchase this...I’m not that fond of primer and the glittery-look is really played out. But, I’m 53yrs old and really needed something new. I tried it today and put 1 drop moisturizer, 1 drop tarte bb cream, and 1 drop becca backlight priming filter. It was a truly amazing experience! First of all, I agree with the other review that says this is not shimmery or glittery! It absolutely is not! It is “reflective” and looks more natural dewy, from within...Kinda like you been eating, sleeping, and getting banged on the regular!;) Fo realz doe! I love it, and it is subtle enough for us mature gals. FYI: my skin is combination, I’m native american, olive complexion, very sensitive skin, peri oral dermatitis, small pores. This has a very fresh clean scent. It stayed on well all day and felt light and airy. It has light coverage, but you could easily get more coverage by using a different foundation...I just prefer not to. Lastly, I have been using NARS Copacabana Illuminator for 4yrs and today I tossed it and replaced it with this Becca Backlight Priming Filter! I’m inlove with it! -I have tried several suggested dupes of Becca Backlight and nothing can even come close!!!!!!!! This is my 4th purchase.

I used to use the primers sold in pharmacies. But, after doing some research, I decided to try this one. I've come to really love it! It gives my skin a soft glow, and begins covering up blemishes before I ever put concealer or foundation on. It goes on light, and feels great on my skin. While it is significantly more expensive than most primers, it's worth it to me. My only complaint is that it comes in a heavy glass bottle, and it's difficult to get it all out. I travel a lot, so I put this into a lightweight travel jar, and dip my brush right into it. It works out perfectly.

* HIGHLY RECOMMEND * Wow! I was hesitant about getting a product for my face considering I don’t use much on it. Within only seconds of applying it my face had such a natural glow… I’ve used it once without any make up in my face looked so much more clear. Then I used it again the next day and applied some foundation over top of it (My foundation usually only lasts an hour or two before it wears off) I did everything from gardening to working out, and later that night my makeup looked just as good as it did once I applied it. I’m absolutely blown away.

I bought this product to use as a pre-concealer primer, hoping it would cut down on the amount of concealer I need. At first, I saw no difference in my makeup. If you experience the same thing, I recommend playing with the product more before giving up on it. After using it several times and refining my technique, I do like it now. For me, the product is slightly helpful under eye concealer. The product is more effective used on the rest of my face to add a bit of glow under a super light dust of powder. This formula is definitely lightweight and feels non-existent under other makeup. It has not caused any bad reactions to my sensitive skin.

I love this primer. It is lightweight and smooths on nicely. It isn't excesssively shiny and not glittery. It just makes your skin have a glow under makeup, like healthy skin. It makes the makeup look like you have nice skin.

I had never used a primer and I'm 67! Saw a makeup tutorial of a middle-aged model using a primer and I thought I would give it a try. Wasn't this brand but I wanted to research and purchase on Amazon! So ran across this one that had "glowing" reviews AND I thoroughly agree with them. This Becca is great! Made a big difference in how my makeup went on! Get this one if you're in the market!
