Q: For a foot rest it is pricey. what makes it better than the $23 amazon choice bestchair that is just 1 inch higher and you can leave arm/back off?

Well, I think for me its the size and weight. Fits perfectly under my desk and it isn't heavy, I can carry it from room to room without any issues.

Q: Anyone over 200 lbs successfully using this as an office chair?

Yes I am well over and it is very comfortable. The only con is my height adjuster lever does not work. This happened not to bother me because I am short and it's already in the right spot for me.

Q: It says "Height Adjustable 1.15 - 1.45 inch." Does this seriously mean you can only vary the height by less than 1/3"?

The height is basically non adjustable
