I must conclude that the arch support in the Biom Hybrid 4 is by design for the following reason. The fit of the several other ECCO golf shoes that I own is consistent with that of the Biom Hybrid 4. In all of them, even the previous model Biom Hybrid 3, they have, as you call it a “prominent” arch support. For me, the way my arch and heel are supported during my golf swing is crucial to making that “good” swing we are all pursuing. And of course, you know that each persons foot geometry is different - so “prominent” for one person may be not so significant for another. Hope this helps.

Thankfully There's A Warranty

I purchased these shoes 45 days ago. They have proven not to be waterproof. SoI was finally able to contact Ecco for the warranty.. it was very frustrating using the online process and I was unsuccessful. Thankfully, after speaking with somebody I was able to initiate the warranty process and I'm just waiting on the credit from Ecco so that I can purchase a new pair.. for sure, not this particular golf shoe. They are ok for comfort , as for waterproof... Not.
