Good supportive care
I love Sherwood products for my bunny. I appreciate the quality of ingredients (or more importantly the lack of poor quality or unnatural ingredients found in every(?) other brand) and that they make items for various bunny problems that just aren't available elsewhere. I got this item after my bunny had a near-death experience and quit eating. The hospital apparently didn't hydrate him well enough, so he came home with a bladder/kidney infection. I just crush these and add to his emergency assist food, also from Sherwood. This was, of course, in addition to an antibiotic provided by the vet. I cannot get this bunny, or any of my prior bunnies, to eat these voluntarily, but when health problems arise, they are a great addition to the emergency food. Try the other Sherwood products, too. They're all great.

This is a miracle!
These pills are a miracle. My guinea pig Iris had two rounds of different antibiotics over more than six weeks and was still squeaking and arching her back when she tried to pee, and was peeing blood. She couldn’t control her bladder and had to be separated from her cage mates so I could keep her clean and dry during her illness. She would barely eat hay and stopped drinking water and I had to spray her greens (romaine, bell pepper, cucumber, fennel) with distilled water to help keep her hydrated, and then sprinkle on some Critical Care Herbivore powder for nutritional support. We were probably days from euthanasia when I stumbled upon these tablets in a desperate internet search. I honestly didn’t think they would work, but I had to try everything before giving up. They arrived quickly with Amazon shipping but she was so ill I was afraid she wouldn't survive to try them. Twice a day I crushed 1/2 tablet, mixed it with distilled water to applesauce consistency and syringe fed it to her while she sat in my lap. It must taste good because she was very willing to take it. Within four days, she was noticeably better, seemingly no longer having pain, was getting her appetite back and eating hay again. After a week there was no blood in her urine and soon she was back with her cage mates, acting completely normal. She has gained back all the weight she lost (over a pound!) and is happy, playful and full of energy again. These tablets literally saved her life and I will always have them on hand from now on. I highly recommend them and if nothing else seems to be helping, please try these before you give up. Everything I’ve been told and have read says there’s no way to dissolve bladder sludge or stones, but it sure worked for my guinea pig. I hope it helps yours too! After hours of research I have changed the pellets I feed my guinea pigs to a brand with low calcium and with no soy products (Oxbow Garden Select Adult). I am very careful what greens and veggies they are fed. Primarily I give green bell pepper, with some fennel and romaine. Occasionally I give them cucumber and other low calcium veggies, and as a treat, a slice of fresh banana. Lots and lots of orchard grass and timothy hay. Always only distilled water in their water bottles. I hope this information might help other guinea pig parents who find themselves dealing with bladder issues.

He must have for treating urinary tract infections in bunnies
Purchase this for my bunny who had a urinary tract infection. After 30 days on antibiotics this kept her clean as well as removing all calcium treats from her diet.

This product saved my guinea pig's life!
This really worked and we were able to avoid expensive surgery! I hope that means we can avoid this issue all together going forward. I recognize that we were fortunate that the stone didn't move into a position that would require surgery and allowed the medicine time to work. At my pig's follow up visit, they even took him back for a second Xray because they couldn't believe the stone was gone! Follow the directions and this can really work! Neither of my pigs would eat the pill at first. So I crushed it and mixed with water at first and syringe fed it to them. After several weeks, they now gladly take the pill on their own. I wish more people knew about this product. I lost a couple piggies to stones. But no more!

Very effective
These supplements saved my guinea pig. We give her two of these per day and she has not had any return of urinary problems. We crush it up in a mortar and pestle, mix with a little water, then syringe it to her.

Guinea pig likes them will update if they help. Got them for her calcium issues.
Got these for a guinea pigs fleece blankets who has calcium issues. She’s been to the vet. She’s on a low calcium diet, filtered water, and still whimpers when excreting calcium. I hope these will help. She’s only been on them 2 days. I give one a day until I can weight her to see if she does need 2 a day. She likes them. The smell is weird but not bad like expired or anything. A little pricy but not too pricy. If they work it’s worth it. Rating 4 stars until I find out if they are helping or not.

This saved my boy's life
This saved my baby's life. He was a pet store piggy, all alone in a very tiny cage. I knew he'd have health problems for life just by looking at him, so I brought him home and began feeding vitamin C from the start. He developed a stone at 3 years old due to misinformation I was given online by a very prominent guinea pig rescue about the Vitamin C (yes, you CAN overdose on it, and they do not just "pee the excess out"). I began giving this about two weeks before his surgery, and have given it every day since. He is doing fine now, and excreting the excess calcium in his urine as normal.
