Harder than it looks
My almost 8 year old, who loves sewing, completed this craft but needed a lot of help. (I know it's rated for ages 9-15.) You need to read the directions carefully, and even then it's not always clear what to do. We kept a seam ripper handy, and I pretty much did the craft for her. Even then, it came out a little wonky. (I'm a so-so sewer). Good thing you can make more than one if the 1st one doesn't work out! This is the first sock monkey type craft we have done together, so if you've done this craft before, you might have more success.

Very difficult for the novice and even an expert. The first one we did ourselves and decided to take the second one to an expert who said she never wanted to see another one again.
