Evolve Protein Powder, Ideal Vanilla, 20g Protein, 1 Pound

I recently had bariatric surgery and I purchased this to increase my protein intake. So far so good. It does not have a powdery or foul taste and was a great value for the money.

Honestly, this is my all time favorite protein powder. I’ve done whey for years, and still use it from time to time, but this stuff is amazing. Love their shakes, so I thought I’d give the powder a try. Incredible. I love mixing it into a bunch of different stuff such as coffee, oat milk, yogurt and oatmeal before or after a workout. A recipe I recommend: Oats, 1 tbsp cocoa power and a scoop or two of the vanilla flavor. Yum! Overall: Mixes well. Tastes great. Keeps me full, and energized. Would recommend.

Like the product overall, I’ve heard high protein and it really isn’t for 2 scoops it’s only 20g which I consider mediocre. And you only get nine servings which is my biggest issue, it’s expensive I think I can get 12 servings of another plant based shakes for more protein and about the same price but I’m waiting for them to come back in stock. The flavor is a nice vanilla flavor it’s really good I think.

Really like the taste on this one. Many plant protein powders I've tried are chalky and only barely edible if I mix them with chocolate cashew milk or almond milk. This one is actually sweet on its own. The bad news: It's sweet because it has actual sugar in it instead of that stevia crap. So if you are looking for something super low in sugar/carbs, this isn't it. However, it's very high in fiber and protein so it's still fairly low glycemic. It also blends smoothly and the texture isn't chalky at all. I also waste less, because the chalkier powders tend to clump at the bottom of the blender, where this one blends evenly into the plant milk so there's almost no sediment at the bottom when I'm done.

I blend this in with smoothies. The vanilla flavor is very strong, and overall, the product leaves the smoothie texture less desirable. It requires 2 scoops to get the 20g of protein advertised and these are not small scoops. While I don't feel gassy or bloated after consuming the product, I can't say that the flavor or serving size will bring me back for another round of purchasing.

¡¡¡THE SCOOP IS AT THE BOTTOM!!! The VERY bottom. I had to dump all the powder out into a mixing bowl to get it, thank goodness for other reviews or I would have assumed it was forgotten. It’s a good product. Definitely sweet but not sugary, nice strong vanilla flavour (not just generic ‘creamy’) and a bit of a texture but not an unpleasant one. Definitely doesn’t taste like peas. I’m buying it again.

Did not disappoint, I've ordered multiple times now. I love the Evolve protein powder, because it's not grainy or gritty like some powders. I sneak it into a lot of my baked goods now to try and increase my overall protein intake. Great in breads, muffins, pancakes, etc. Also great in smoothies! For someone who has endometriosis and also is trying to avoid whey protein because of the estrogen effect, this brand is everything.
