DeSantis Sof-Tuck PPK/PPKS Right Hand Tan

I recently got my concealed carry license and wanted a good in-the-pants tuck-in concealed pistol holster for my FEG PA-63 (Hungarian PPK remake chambered in 9x18 Mak - excellent compact pistol and very reliable). Thanks to the other reviewer who also has this model pistol, I chose the Desantis holster and am very pleased with the decision.Apart from solid (American) workmanship and materials, the best part of the holster is the adjustable clip (something comparable models lack). This is a special feature that you simply won't find on most holsters which have a static positioned clip. The dynamic clip allows the pistol to be positioned exactly how you want it, and the fasteners tighten with easily accessible allen wrench lugs (very sturdy with friction tensioners to keep it nice and snug once you get the right position).The high quality leather (suede mostly) is sturdy and stiff and definitely needs to be broken in. I am going to upload pics of mine from after I conditioned it. My preference for oiling leather is to use coconut oil - it's cheap and easy to apply and really helps to condition the leather without making it greasy. Initially, the suede leather was rather high-friction which made holstering the pistol a bit of a chore but after a couple of applications of the coconut oil (which does darken the leather noticeably be warned) it now slides in smooth while still keeping the gun snug and secure. I have been wearing the holster for a few days now and have practiced quick drawing and reholstering a few dozen times - flawless. One key for a useful concealed holster is that you don't want to make a lot of fuss if you need to draw it but you also want to make sure your gun is secure. Having a thumb strap is a bad idea for a concealed weapon because it will draw a lot of attention to you with either velcro or a snap being undone, but with this holster I can have the gun in my hand and a round in the chamber in less than 2 seconds easy. If you carry with a round in the chamber, then you are ready to go in as long as it takes to get the gun in your hand and totally silently.As with any leather product, this needs care and will have a breaking in period. If you oil/condition the leather and consistently leave your pistol in this holster it will fit like a snug glove in about a day or two. Overall great product, fast shipping, and excellent price for the quality. I highly recommend!

Fit and retention are pretty decent given this is soft leather. Will fit PA-63 or, I assume, PP but front sight could hang up a tiny bit on either. For a single clip IWB it works as well as expected. Doesn't slide around and stays put when drawing. Angle of cant tends to move around a bit.Construction is good. Adjustable cant is easy and they include Allen wrench. The clip doesn't fit a thick gun belt, only a standard belt. A gun belt isn't strictly necessary given the pistols relatively light weight. The clip is a J style which is fine for fairly deep concealment. I would prefer an option for other clip styles. Definitely worth the price.Will probably end up with another style of holster but this is definitely workable.

Perfect fit for my Interarms PPKS. Slightly tight at first, but in a few days it was a perfect fit. Comfy to wear, adjustable angle on the belt clip, and the darker leather around the throat of the holster is a nice touch. Good looking, comfortable to carry, and a secure fit on the PPKS. Great value for a well-made IWB holster!

This holster is very meh.. I will try to bullet point some of the finer points, and some of the short-falls this product has.Pros-The faux leather/suede has a very nice, high quality feel to it.-The stitching work is high quality, and definitely built to last.-This holster has a semi hard leather mold around the opening to assist in keeping it open for re-holstering.. This feature is fantastic, and works very well.Cons-Being a single clip design, it will put all of the pistols weight, in one spot on you pants... If you buy your pants a little lose like I do, it will cause binding, and the holster will try to sink.-The belt clip is plastic. It feels cheap, because it is cheap. I wish DeSantis had spring the extra bucks and included a metal Jclip for this.-The retention screw for the clip, again, feels sub par campaired to the holster itself.. It never seems capable of being tight enough to not try and move about.All in all? It's a sub 20 dollar holster. It will absolutely fill the gap between now, and when you can she'll out the cash for a high end product... But for everyday use??Not my favorite product in the world. However, I would like to point out, DeSantis manufactures some absolutely fantastic products as well.

Good holster for the money for my stainless Walther PPK/S. The included plastic belt clip is sub-standard. I replaced it with an extra Cross Breed spring steel clip that not only improved how the holster stayed attached to my belt and stop it from sliding. An added benefit to replacing the stock screw and washer was increased retention. Unless you want to do a little modification to the belt clip it might not be the holster for you. I didn’t know I would need to modify it when first purchased. It is a great looking holster though. Much nicer than typical black plastic, nylon or leather. It worked in to for the pistol properly very quickly. I use it all the time when I want to carry something smaller.

I was looking for a holster to fit my P-64 and read reviews saying this holster fit it well since it's very similar in shape and size as a walther. It is a perfect fit and extremely comfortable to wear on a daily basis. Some of the reviews I read had people who weren't very happy with the plastic belt clip. It feels very sturdy and I haven't had any issues with mine. I am extremely happy with the purchase of this holster.

When trying to put the gun in the holster, it is an extremely tight fit. Also feels like it would pop out of the case when I am wearing it. It just feels like it is not in there correctly and maybe the holster is too small (my gun is the specified PPK). I am still working with putting a sock on the gun and leaving it in the case like that to stretch it.
