Colors of the Seasons Color by Number Coloring Art

The media could not be loaded.  This is a lovely color-by-number coloring book which has Bible Scripture quotes on each of the design pages. In some cases, the emphasis is on the quote and it is integrated into the design while on others, the quote is simply placed at the bottom of the page. The picture are really lovely but do not reflect the wording of the quotes.The Scripture is from both Old and New Testaments and cites are provided; however, the publisher did not provide which a listing of translations the quotes were taken from. They did not give any credits for artists.The designs are quite detailed and a few have intricate spots to color. The designs are cut off on all sides, so you will be coloring unfinished elements. A simple fix for this is to size down the image a bit and put a framing line around the design but that was not done in this case. A nice touch is that on the back of the book, there is a spot to sign and date your work. The color key is on the back of the book.This is what I found while coloring in this book and testing my coloring medium on the paper.24 hand-drawn designs of various subjects. Bible Scripture is included on each page.Printed on one side of the pagePaper is white, medium/light weight, slightly smooth and perforatedStaple BoundDesigns cross over the perforations but nothing essential to the design is lost if you remove a page from the bookAll wet medium: markers (alcohol and water-based), India ink pens an gel pens bleed through the paper to some extent. I suggest using a blotter page under your working page or removing the page from the book before coloring. That will keep ink from leaking through and damaging the rest of the book.Colored pencils worked well with this book. I was able to blend, layer the same and multiple colors using both oil and wax-based pencils.

I really love this coloring book. The pictures are very nice and the number are light but still easy to see. The only thing I didn't like is the color key on the back cover doesn't have the name of the color shade intended. I had to spend extra time, going through all my pencils, trying to match my pencils to the color key. This would be an Awesome coloring book if they would add the color name to the color key.

I never imagined the numbers wouldn't cover, so I won't display these after I color them. Haven't colored in years, so I thought color by numbers would be a good way to get into it again. The last time I had a color by number book, it had a a colored picture with the numbers across from the page to color. So after coloring one could take the page out and display it if you wanted to. Also, i would prefer that the inspirational quote was always at the bottom or top, as some are, but others have the quote incorporated into the design.On the up side, the colors work well with the 2 different sets of colored pencils that I have. The detail in the pictures is also excellent, providing lots of dimension to the pictures. The pages are easily removable. So I will use this book to reacquaint myself with coloring and learn from the instructions of how the colors are placed.

I purchased this coloring book because I thought it would be up to the standards of others I have purchased. Not so. While most of the pictures were drawn like a professional did them, several pictures in this book looked like they were scribbled on the back of a napkin. Lines do not connect or are absent altogether, several times the numbers are not included (this is a color-by-number book), and some of the color numbers used seemed wrong. Overall, this book was just a disappointment.

Beautiful and varied pics to color while contemplating the Bible passages. The numbers are quite small and faint. This is a positive for the outcome of the puzzle but difficult to see. The color key on the back cover has a few colors that are difficult to differentiate. If there is another book of this theme I suggest the color key come with color identification (like peach, light blue) to make it a bit easier on the eyes.

This is just right for me. I don’t like to color tiny figures or spaces or crowded pages. I will let my photo speak for themselves.Note: this coloring book only has 24 images. A fraction of what regular coloring book has.

I’m an experienced colorist, but I wanted something to color while babysitting. I like not having to think about the colors. I also have trouble coloring birds, water & some nature. I’m learning a lot. It’s so relaxing & is almost like meditation. I have more difficult books that are not by number but this is easy & fun. The paper quality is very good and the perforated pages are easy to tear out. I’ve added a few touches & changes of my own to enhance the finished product.

Love this coloring book! I was in a bad place and the thought of picking colors out was to much for me. This book has beautiful pictures and have me a sense of accomplishment when I was done. I have been able to move on to regular adult coloring books. This was just what I needed, coloring is so relaxing and this book was perfect.

Les images étaient en double et mais parfois en triple.J'aurais préféré avoir toutes des images différentes.

Great stress releiver. My mom loves them! numbers are small but it's still fun.
