MISSION Cooling Stretchy Visor - Unisex Visor Hat for Men and Women, No Slip Band, UPF 50 Sun Protection Visor

I was looking for a hat that would be good for sailing as most hats tend to want to blow off my head, this requires me to both cinch the headband and add a chin strap. Hooray for the MISSION visor! It works well in windy conditions as the 3" wide stretchy band clings to my head without being tight. No chin strap needed. The one-size-fits-all visor is a size medium which is too loose for my small head. I adjusted the band length with a safety pin, wore it outside a few times, and it worked just fine. So, I sewed the band to those dimensions to make a permanent fix. Also, I like the way the MISSION visor band is 3" wide and covers up my hair better than other hats and visors. My hair is not sticking out and my head looks a lot neater now. I'll wear the visor a few more times and if it becomes my new fav, I'll buy another one.

Love this visor!!! Where has this visor been all these years??? Fits perfect and so comfortable. Love the fact that the material is like that of a t-shirt instead of that scratchy material most hats and visor are made from. This provides a really comfortable fit. And the fact that you can wet it, shake it, and then wear it for even more cooling is awesome. Wore it on a run after wetting it in 90 degree weather and I did feel cooler. It doesn't stay cool for as long as advertised but does work. I saw some complained of a loose fit but I find the fit just right. And I love that you can throw your hair up in a high ponytail and then wear the visor while letting your head cool vs. a hat. Bottom line, get this visor if you're in the market for one!!!!!!!!!

I love how lightweight it is, and I love that there’s no fastener, the band is comfortable…but the visor is a little warped/misshapen. I’ll send it back and order another one.

Loved this for my beach week. Stayed on in the wind, protected my face and cool to wear. I also love that it’s stretchy and comfortable to wear and doesn’t give me a headache! I bought a baseball cap version for my son for summer band practice. He loves the cooling effect especially in the hot Texas heat.

I'm a gardener/landscape-maintainer. it's hot, sunny, dirty, wonderful work. Sunglasses fall off and don't stop the sweat from rolling down my face. A baseball cap was too hot. I've always thought visors were really dorky but now I see the point. I had seen Mission sun hats advertised somewhere and thought "hey that's what I need except how do I deal with my mop of curly hair that needs to be in a ponytail up off my neck? Oh. visors. THAT'S what they're for." I was super psyched to see that a visor version exists, and it does not look stupid on me (it actually looks cute). I'm giving it a five because it does what it says - it keeps my head cool and shades my eyes and doesn't look ridiculous (because yes, my ego comes to the garden with me - I actually LOVE the way I look in dirty carharrts and a tank top and didn't need a visor ruining that for me lol). I have one minor complaint about this visor - I wish they had sizes because it's almost too loose on me. It did stay put once I got it into a particular position and I am glad to know it does, but I might have to size it down a tiny bit for myself.

I bought this for lightweight packability for hiking/carrying around and something with little bulk to fit underneath a bike helmet. It does all these just fine and with a big brim so i give it 3 stars for me. However: The problem is that it is really ugly due to fit, and the headband is sized really big, so for people who want a visor to look somewhat ok and fit without having to adjust with hair and such, i can't recommend. Anyone below an "XL" in hat size will find this slipping off. Also since it has little to no structure, the rigid brim leaves a nice line across the forehead and can be uncomfortable

Love this so comfortable and keeps the sweat out of my eyes in the AZ heat!

Light, fit well, kept the sun off my face, and the band kept me cool while playing pickleball in very hot weather.
