The Fermerry 18 AWG Stranded Wire set is an excellent choice for anyone working on electronics or DIY projects. The quality of these wires is outstanding. The silicone insulation is not only flexible but also heat-resistant, making it incredibly easy to work with, even in tight spaces or high-temperature environments. The stranded tinned copper construction ensures excellent conductivity and durability. I appreciate the color-coding, which makes organization and identification simple during projects. Each spool is 10 feet long, which is perfect for small to medium-sized tasks without excessive leftover material.

Okay quality for the listed price, the added "extras" such as the cable ties and heatshrink are again okay. The wire itself is very flexible thanks to the silicone coating, the tinned copper wire however, is a little lack-luster. The quality is acceptable but longevity will tell the tale of whether this wire is any good. So far I have used the wire in multiple PLC and robotic projects and it has provided adequate service. The heatshrink works as it should, the cableties though are very low quality, okay for holding some wires together but dont expect to put much pressure on them.

Ideal for modelling etc and if you need thicker wire , just double it !

Cost effective wiring. It's not copper plated, but it's a decent thickness and the sheath is good quality.

Check your requirements regarding length and width. I’m glad I went with the thicker option for my DIY electronics. I love the feel of the silicone type insulation, it is quite pliable, easy to strip. You can never have enough colours.
