Used this on my homemade door for my UTV. Works great. Mount it on a flat surface because it has no backing . Also, be careful during the install because the spring might fall out while installing it . I did grease it. Very pleased so far. .

check the size measurements. looks big in pictures but is really small. like for a cupboard...not a gate

Purchased it to replace worn out latch on truck canopy. So far it works well.

It works great. Smaller than it looked but sturdy and is working great. We will see in 6 months or so if it lasts.
