I Didn't Even Used to Drink Tea Regularly............Until I Came Across This Numi Organic Aged Earl Grey Black Tea!!
Initially, I got this Numi Organic Aged Earl Grey Black Tea for my mom, for when she drinks tea, in an effort to get her to eat (and drink) as organic & healthy as much as possible. The fact that it is also "Fair Trade Certified" and made with non-GMO, biodegradable filter-paper tea bags, rather than the plastic or GMO-material tea bags of other tea companies and the tea bags come in a cardboard/paper box that is completely recyclable or compostable, was an added bonus. On top of that, the fact that the employees at the Numi tea estate in Assam, India also get a fair livable wage, decent housing, medical care, and education, as well as a plot of land for their own use (like to raise crops for personal use and/or for sale) was just the "icing on the cake" (so to speak!)When I first got this tea, it was mainly my mom (and occasionally my brother) who had it. Because I wasn't much of a tea-drinker (or coffee-drinker, for that matter, either). In fact until the past few years, I wasn't/hadn't been much of a hot beverage drinker in general (instead, usually just cold drinks like sparkling water, soda [before I went organic/healthy], lemonade, punch, apple juice/cider [again, before going organic/healthy], etc.)Then awhile back, I started getting into an LCHF (low-carb, high fat)/ketogenic-type diet, including "Bulletproof Butter Coffee" (originally started by Tibetan Buddhist monks, and recently popularized by Dave Asprey ) and started drinking coffee more often -- though still NOT on a daily basis (like most who follow the "Bulletproof" plan), because of the general aversion I had to hot beverages for most of my life (until recently).Meanwhile, I had started getting this Numi Organic Aged Earl Grey Black Tea for my mother, and occasionally my brother (who also follows the "Bulletproof Coffee" plan -- but in his case, he DOES drink coffee pretty much daily) to replace the Lipton, and other conventional teas, full of pesticides (and other junk) and made using toxic plastics or GMO-material tea bags. Since I wasn't a big tea/hot beverage drinker, initially I never bothered to try this tea myself instead only having coffee, or occasionally hot chocolate, otherwise only cold drinks. Then one day, I wanted something other than anything I usually had, so I tried this tea...........and I'm so glad I did, because its wonderful. Like I said, I wasn't a regular tea drinker until I found this tea -- and now I drink it on a daily, or nearly daily basis. In fact, even with reusing the tea-bags (because we are able to get 2, sometimes even 3 cups of tea out of each tea bag!), we still go through so much of the tea that, now, instead of buying this 18 count box of tea bags, I instead buy it in THIS 100 Count bulk case through "Subscribe & Save"!Because, seriously, I ♡ this tea. It is literally a MILLION times better than Lipton (or other non-organic conventional) teas. In fact, THIS is one of the best black teas I've ever had. One can definitely taste the citrus-y hint of bergamot, but its not overwhelming -- and rather a very balanced flavor! Also, though Numi Organic Aged Earl Grey Black Tea is caffeinated, that is not a downside to me, because I actually NEED the caffeine. Due to certain chronic medical conditions and then the side effects/adverse reactions from the so-called "treatment" (Thanks, Big pHARMa meds & vaccines! 😡 ) I've got a lot of sleep problems, and am never (or very rarely) able to fall asleep at night. Even if/when I do, I either wake up constantly throughout and at best, am only able to sleep in 2-3 hour snatches -- OR I'm plagued by horrible nightmares, waking up sweating, panting for breath and/or in tears. As a result, my sleep & schedule is totally messed up. Take last night as one example, I couldn't fall asleep until like 6:30 this morning, and then I woke up sometime around 8:15, then again at 10:30, before finally waking for good (well relatively!) by 11:45. Now its 3pm and I'm already starting to feel drowsy -- though this is helping a bit -- hopefully long enough to be able to stay awake until a reasonable time tonight to go to bed. What I really like (even LOVE) about this Numi Organic Tea is that it has enough caffeine to wake me up/keep me awake for a decent amount of time, but yet without the jitters & heartburn that I sometimes get from coffee -- especially strong(er) coffee. I HIGHLY recommend this tea. It is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS -- and that's coming from someone who only had a cup of tea once or twice a year (if even that!) until a few months ago!!★☆★☆★ 5 STARS!!!!

Great Tea, not so great the way the package was handled
This is my favorite tea it is hard to find at stores, so I thought I would try amazon, I got the tea for a great price. When I opened the package the tea boxes were smashed and had opened up. Not so happy about the way the package was treated.

Love Numi - NOT Happy with Amazon!
I ordered Jasmine Green and Earl Gray and AMAZON gave me Chamomile Lemon and Earl Gray. NOT what I ordered and no way to return the set of 3 Chamomile Lemon. Unhappy with Amazon. Happy with Numi.

Fantastic!
Fast-shipping came in great condition. Tea is fresh. The toasted brown rice gives it a smooth, earthy flavor. My new favorite tea!

Delicious flavor; better for my health and the environment
I happened upon Numi Organic Golden Chai Tea after a competitor's brand (rhymes with Lazo) was unavailable at stores in my area. After researching chai tea offerings, I learned that most tea bags are made of microplastics which, when steeped in boiling water, release billions of microplastics in the hot water (tea). For the past several years I thought I was paying a little more for a well-known brand that was better quality, when in fact I've been paying more to ingest microplastics.Once I narrowed down my search to plastic-free teabag options, I found Numi which uses biodegradable, unbleached Manila hemp fiber in their teabags. The price is about the same as the microplastic laden competitor-option, so the next test was taste.Numi Golden Chai is comprised of Fair Trade Certified organic Assam black tea, organic cinnamon, organic ginger, organic anise and organic cardamom. This flavor combination is smooth, rich and absolutely delicious! I have become a devoted customer after just one week of enjoying this tea. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

Great tea with a great price.
Though I go through phases, genmaicha is my favorite kind of tea. Sadly, every major grocery store near me that used to carry some brand of it stopped doing so. Numi is a good genmaicha for the price. It is not the best genmaicha I have ever had, but it's in the top three and I will likely buy more because the slightly 'better' genmaicha costs 2x more.

A Better Earl Grey Tea
These Tea Bags are very nice indeed. I don't like most Earl Grey tea since the bergamot oil also seems over-whelming to me and the tea is very weak. This blend with Assam gives the tea a much more robust flavour and the organic bergamot gives a more delicate aromatic flavour that adds but does not overpower the tea. It is also true bergamot and not a chemically synthesised "natural" flavour. They are not cheap but this box of 100 bags is a more economical way to buy them. I am a bit OCD and so I always count the contents when buying stuff like this, and my box only contained 89 bags! I am sure Amazon will resolve this problem for me promptly, but beware and make sure you count the bags in your box to make sure you get the full 100 bags.

Great Tea But Short-Changed
I was introduced to this tea by a friend and decided to share it with others whom I knew would also enjoy it - that speaks to the lovely product that it is. It's stronger in caffeine than regular tea, so be warned, but the taste is really nice if you are an Earl Grey fan. Because I was going to share the tea bags, I ordered a box of 100. Theycame in loose individual tea bag packages in a big box. For 'fun' (because COVID and nothing else to do), I decided to count the packages - 99 in total. Hmmm. One tea bag loss may not seem like a lot but multiply this by every 100 unit box ordered and I guess there is savings to be had? Someone owes me a tea bag. It's the principal of the thing, really. One should always get what they are promised and have paid for. Great tea, though!

Flavour difference - bulk vs non or overall shift?
I noticed that the packaging changed from what I bought in stores in the usual boxes of 18 (on the right in the pic) vs the bulk 100 pack box here on Amazon, so did a side-by-side taste test. I used different cups so I didn't mix them up while drinking them.PICTURE:- Left side = new packaging (Amazon 100 bulk pack order)- Right side = old packaging (supermarket 18 pack box)Big cups, 2 tea bags each, same amount of hot water and steeping time, tasted hot before adding milk, then after adding milk.COLOUR + AROMA:Right off, the colours and aromas were different, and it aligns with the eventually tastings as well. You can see the colour on the left is lighter than the darker one on the right, though it's a bit obscured by the different cups. Aroma of left cup was clearly more citrusy, right smeller fuller.TASTE:Pre-milk - the left cup tasted more citrusy, lighter, weaker flavour but not weak, only weaker in comparison. The right cup tasted fuller, stronger. With milk - no change. Left citrusy/lighter/weaker. Right fuller/stronger.My wife also tasted it, and our observations were the same, but the results are:- I prefer the older flavour. I felt that the new flavour is almost like a Lady Grey (but not quite). While both say they use 'assam' leaves, I felt like the old flavour felt more like a traditional assam leaves, and the new flavour felt more like Ceylon leaves.- My wife prefers the newer flavour. She felt the older one was a bit strong, almost bitter (but not quite). The real question is ... are the boxes I got from the supermarkets the last of this old flavour altogether and soon the old flavour/recipe will be gone forever? Or will the supermarkets continue distributing this new recipe?
