All because of lost linkage . . .
I was using my beloved TORO Recycler in the usual maniacal way and it just stopped. A machine that starts on the first pull after sitting all winter. So the deeper I got into cleaning out the carb the deeper I got into, "I might as well rebuild it". So I did.Somewhere in the process I lost the speed linkage thingy. Could not find it anywhere. So I looked for a new set of linkage that ended up costing the same if not more than a new carb. I went looking (and looking) finally finding this one that looked just like the old one.NOTE: Examine the listings very carefully. What may look and say to be exactly what you are looking for . . . isn't.It arrived in no time, was exactly like the original. Tore into the thing and got it replaced in a couple of hours. It took a little tweaking to get it perfect since the new gas line, which there is more than plenty of, is heavier and needed special handling. Changed the oil and did a well deserved deep clean and Silicone wipe. Even painted the exhaust Chevy 200. A gorgeous Bright Orange. When all done making her pretty, I took her out to the North 20. Did my usual startup routine, the Primer button, which on this model is replaceable (Yay!), is nicely new and stiff and a design that will take wear. Did a pull and nothing. Did another and a few little ones to "move things around" and get gas into the system, then "Vrooom!" Got 5 feet into the mow (scrape) and my shine job was all covered in dust. After dumping the first grass bag I didn't think of the new carb and attacked the mower as usual. It started right up. Although I use a special blend of gas, removing the additives using enzymes, for my yard toys that gives them a bit more oomph and they run smooth as glass with no "coughing" noises and whatnot. She has some roughness and needs to be dialed in a bit then everything should be Golden! This Carb is a great piece of gear and well made. As I said, it looks just like the OEM. All the extraneous parts and gaskets that came with it are of better quality than the OEM. Got a New Air Filter and Spark Plug that needed no gapping. Now that we have just had 9" of snow, the "Dialing In" will have to wait.

Great price
The only thing wrong is the air filter has the wrong size hole and won’t work on my machine. Erverthing else is good and runs great.

I can't believe it works, but it does- it really does!
Have my Toro Personal Pace lawnmower bought new in 2004. Started on the first or second pull every time until Spring of 2024. That's what 20 years of running only 100% gasoline will do. No ethanol, no Stabil, just pure gas. But eventually, the carb's float bowl needle seat wore out. It would cost me $8 for just that, then another $8 for a float bowl gasket, then another $6 for yet another O-ring. I could have spent $32 on parts and shipping to rebuild my carb, or order this at half the price including a new air filter, spark plug, and fuel line. Took me 20 minutes to uninstall the original Tecumseh carb and install this dirt cheap knockoff. Got it started, but RPMs were a little low....turned the Phillips head screw to increase RPMs. I am happy. This summer only saw about 8 hours of run time thus far.....My Toro starts on the first pull again. Even if it only lasts a few years- it is worth it.
