As women age, our bodies go through so many changes. Alot of them can be hard to accept. The loss of comfortable intimacy SHOULDN'T be one of them. Me and my husband of 34 years, have always had an awesome "physical relationship ". 😜 I started finding myself avoiding "it" for the 1st time in my life. It just didn't feel the same. Which snowballed into other issues. Like a lack of response to things that previously had not been an issue. I'm sure most of you know what I'm talking about. Fortunately, I have a very sweet understanding husband, but I could tell he missed the "old" me. I tried a prescription estrogen gel that was rubbed into the skin of the insides of my forearms. After a year or so, it caused me to start spotting, and ended up having to have a D&C, due to a thickened uterine lining. This happened a couple of years into menopause. So, I had to stop using that. As the years went by, my changing body just kinda got accepted as "it is, what it is", and I had every excuse in the book to avoid the subject. It just wasn't as enjoyable as it always had been. Over the years I tried a couple of other products. Regular, as needed lubes, several other brands of every 3 days vaginal moisturizers,ect. None of them really acted like "the real thing " like they claimed they would. Plus, those other moisturizers caused a white clumpy discharge. Not exactly something I would want my husband to see, if you know what I mean? Then, about a year ago, I found Hydrogyn while browsing Amazon. I read the mostly positive reviews, and decided to try it. I cannot tell you how happy I am that I did! It has been life changing for me and my husband. We may not be "doing it" as often as we did 34 years ago, but "it" feels as good as it ever did! My lubrication feels as normal, and natural as it did when I was young. I put the Hydrogyn in every 3 nights, and that's it. The spontaneity, and response is back. I have had absolutely no negative issues using Hydrogyn. It's a wonderful product. I'm kinda embarrassed to reveal this, but I'm 69 years old, and have a soft, supple, natural feeling moisturized vagina. I have a happy husband again. He wishes he could buy stock in Hydrogyn. P.S. This was my first time trying a hyaluronic acid suppository. I am in perimenopause. I have near constant itching, burning, and vulva tears. I gave this product a try! I was shocked that it really did work to make me more comfortable. The itching stopped completely, no more burning, the vulva tears were gone! I chose this brand bc of the value. Very sad that when I went to repurchase recently they no longer have the vaginal suppositories available. I’ve now tried another brand and I’m hoping it works as well as this one did.

Great product. Very moisturizing. Quality as it has mostly aloe for an ingredient. Scent negligible. Low priced!

It worked great for me! I was so dry that I bought one for external use and this one for internal. It did burn and sting for about 15–20 minutes the first few times, but after that, I had no problems. I also rubbed a little lubricant on the applicator to make insertion easier and applied it at night while lying down to prevent any discharge. I was also surprised to notice an increase in sexual desire!

I have used this for a good 2 years. I’ve used other products similar to this that were irritating. But this has never bothered me. I’ve seen some reviews were the reviewer is complaining that this gel immediately gave them an infection and that their discharge was suddenly “chunky”.. No, you already had Bacterial Vaginosis and realized it when you inserted this product. I’m extremely sensitive and this product has never bothered me.

Update: I used the product once, did not have intercourse, I wanted to see how it felt and I ended up with a yeast infection. Now I am on medication that was prescribed by the gynecologist. I had hoped that this would work for vaginal dryness, instead I have a vaginal yeast infection. I recently ordered this after realizing just how uncomfortable things can get during menopause. After being celibate for many years, I was honestly shocked by how painful dryness has become. It really does feel like a whole new phase of life, and I am learning a lot as I go. I am not currently on HRT, so I have been researching other options to help manage dryness. I am very sensitive and always have been, especially to lubes, creams, and anything used internally, so I have to be extremely careful. I chose this product because the ingredients looked good and gentle. I also know that hyaluronic acid can be moisturizing and, over time, may help improve tissue health. That was my hope going into it, even though I understand this kind of product is more of a band aid and cannot address the underlying drop in estrogen. I used the suppository as directed and it is supposed to last about three days. Today is day four, and I will say that it did make me feel more lubricated. Even externally, I noticed a bit more moisture, including on day three. I did not use this during intercourse, as I was just trying it out on its own, so I cannot speak to how it performs in that situation. That said, I did notice what feels like the beginning of a yeast issue internally. I do not know yet if I am reacting to the product, but it is concerning. I already have an appointment with my gynecologist today and plan to get it checked out. If it does turn out to be yeast related, I will have to stop using this, which would be really disappointing given why I chose it and how careful I was. Overall, it did help with moisture, but if you are very sensitive like I am, this may be something to approach cautiously. I am glad I tried it before being sexually active again, and I will update my decision after I speak with my doctor.

I probably would’ve passed on buying this if I read the reviews more thoroughly 😐 But alas, it wasn’t until I read the packaging (e.g. “Be aware that you may experience a slight increase in vaginal burning, itching, or irritation”) and inserted it anyways that I decided to sift through the 1-3 star reviews. Context: I am 28. I don’t have some big problem with dryness or anything. I just hate NOT being ”ovulation-wet” throughout my whole cycle lol. I wanted to try this to see if I could increase my body’s natural lubrication production—as opposed to using some messy lube. Results & Issues: I only used this once, a few days ago, smack dab in the middle of my luteal phase. As instructed, I inserted before bed. Within about 20-30 seconds, my innards felt as though I squirted straight menthol or IcyHot up there lol it wasn’t painful at all, but very weird and unsettling 😵‍💫👀 Not to mention, I apparently had the wrong assumption that this product was like, “all natural” or something, so I wasn’t expecting some weird chemical-y feeling. Anyways, that weird “cold burn” lasted maybe 15-20 minutes or so. During that time, I read all the reviews about a nasty, chunky discharge to ensue 🥲 **Subtle foreshadowing..** The next day I went to work. I didn’t use a panty liner, and honestly I didn’t really need one. It’s not like I was gushing or anything. Everything felt normal. Just a normal amount of moisture. The second day, same thing. That night, my bf and I had smexy time. And I will say.. this stuff does work wonders to make your natural lubrication feel as though you’re ovulating lol I was very wet and comfy 😌 HOWEVER… After we were done and cleaning up, the little “snail trail” of a wet spot I left on the bed was that white chunky stuff the reviews warned about 😩 I was so mortified. I wiped it up fast before he could see 🫣🤣 Granted, it didn’t look as though someone dropped a glob of cottage cheese on the sheets or anything. It was a minimal amount (think, like, a total of 10 cottage cheese “curds” 😅), but I’m definitely afraid to keep using this in fear that it would only get worse with continued use. I also did not like the fact that it makes you burn like that after insertion. Like I said, it wasn’t “painful” by any means. But I feel like—although minimal in discomfort—no product should cause ANY irritation to my delicate little lady bits 😢 I decided to try a different product called “Vulva Balm” by Medicine Mama (or VMAGIC ??). I’m currently waiting for it to deliver so I can try it. Those reviews looked a little more promising. In conclusion, I give this product 3 stars because it really does work to make you feel naturally lubricated (it’s not sticky, “slimy,” or messy like lube would be. It feels real). But I don’t like the irritation factor or the embarrassing chunks 🫣

I have ordered this before and I liked it! I ordered a larger amount then the first time! It has no scent and it’s easy to use! It last longer than I expected! I believe it’s doing me good with using it the right way! It’s a little pricey but worth it if it works! It works!!!
