these have a good, strong snap (watch your fingers!) they're the perfect size for mice, but too small for rats or chipmunks.the covered design and back release means you don't have to touch or be near any dead mice (and they will be dead, not just pinned/injured like some traps)I really like the design of the twist-out bait cups, they're a small part, but if you use them as intended the traps are easy to set! I used peanutbutter and the mice didn't stand a chance!these traps can be re-used (just toss the dispatched mouse, re-bait and reset the trap) or tossed out with the mouse if you aren't comfortable dealing with dead things.my only concern is that if you have kids or pets they can get snapped because these traps are pretty sensitive!

Way easier to bait and use than the traditional traps. The latch will give out after a dozen or so times. The spring and everything looks in good condition but it just stops latching. I've had them go off without catching the mouse so a dozen or so firings sounds like a lot of reuse but it's not really.Every time it's caught the mouse it did effectively kill which is great. My husband deals with that part and he said he prefers the ease of use with this brand.I've soaked in beach water to clean them but now honestly I've just use dawn dish soap power spray and a hose, before rebaiting with peanut butter.If you need to refresh these traps because they haven't caught anything recently. I've carefully used just the separated peanut oil to carefully refresh the bait.

Easy to use

Positives: It has a good system with a bowl located well inside the outer plastic jaws of the trap. The bowl is surrounded by a pivoting platform, which, when depressed, triggers the jaws to snap shut. The swing for the jaws is sufficiently strong to swiftly bring down the upper jaw.Negatives: I have mounted several brands of small mouse traps to flat boards in order to control the motion of the total trap, so that the trap is stable when a mouse initially touches the trap and doesn't trigger the jaws prematurely. Without a mounting base, this trap will fly up and sometimes doesn't get the mouse. Additionally, because of the way the rear internal pivoting section is designed, I cannot put an internally mounted screw inside the body of the trap. So I have to anchor the rear of the trap externally, and this doesn't give good anchoring of the trap to the base, which has also resulted in not catching mice that started into the trap.As a result, there have been more missed mice that this trap should have gotten.Summary: I cannot recommend this mouse trap

They work better than any trap I have ever used .Clean and does the job every time .So very easy! !!!!
