SinKeu 40W Portable Solar Panel, Foldable Monocrystalline for Generator

So pleased with this. I bought it to charge my power pack ready for a powercut. One used and still if the power is off we can simply plug this in even if no sun it does charge the powerbank. It is sold and doesnt feel cheap. You can plug your mobile phone directly into it and it has different USB connections.

I've been using this alongside portable power equipment when outdoors and it works well in decent sunlight. It's lightweight, folds away neatly and is easy to carry. The output obviously depends on the weather, but in good conditions it provided a steady charge and was useful for keeping smaller devices and power stations topped up throughout the day. The build quality feels solid and the fabric and stitching seem well made. It's not a replacement for mains charging, but for camping, fishing or emergency use it's a handy bit of kit. The only reason I've marked it down to four stars is that, like all portable solar panels, performance drops quite a bit on cloudy days. Otherwise it's been a useful addition.

Great for off grid charging- used to recharge phones and iPad on a sunny day without any problems. Only it used it twice so far, hopefully it will last me the medium to long term

Early days so 4 stars so far. I connect the panel to a powerbank and it charged it nicely. Uk is not blessed with copious sunshine but in March it was working satisfactory. The panel(s) are well made, simple to use great for camping/travelling ot going some distances in the car.

Great product for all aspects of life, camping, traveling etc. Great value for money easy to use.

It all seems well made and sensibly designed. The fabric feels like 1000D Oxford, and it's all sewn and finished very well. The panels themselves fold in on themselves, each one has a padded back so as not to damage the one behind it, and for protection. When folded it is held together by two clips, and there is a carry handle. Unfolded, there are two 'legs' that allow the panels to sit at 45 degrees. There is a zipped pocket with the voltage controller, with a USB-A socket (QC 3.0), 15v DC multi socket and an LED light. Also included are 10 adaptors and a 1m cable; I've no intention of using these and haven't tested them. On it's first test (9 May) putting it out facing due south on an overcast day at 0730 it charged a 10,000mAh battery at about 10% an hour. However, once the sun was oblique and the panels were in shadow the rate reduced to 1-2% per hour. I haven't got a USB voltmeter so unfortunately I can't report on that, but it did charge the battery with absolutely no issues. If you want to hang the panels, or strap them down, there are grommets at each corner. I would say that this is way too heavy to carry hiking - as pictured - but as a base camp power source it would be ideal.
